What PPV's Do You Actually Pay For?

So, as title states, what PPV's do you actually pay for? If any! I hardly ever pay, But watch the ones that are free. Do you always say buy wrestlemania, or do you wait until the matches are announced? Just thought it would be interesting to see.

Thanks.

The only P.P.V. I buy is the Rumble. £15 for a show is expensive, and there usually out on dvd three month's later and there cheaper. I find that once I know the result's of the match's I'm not that bothered about seeing the whole card. If there's a match that's supposed to be good ie the Ladder match at Armageddon I'll find it on the net. I end up buying all the WWE and T.N.A. dvd's anyway.

You see I never buy the DVDs. My step Brother is manager of HMV up north, and when the jeff hardy and Torrie wilson visit happened, He got me Summerslam signed and sent that down. The only one i bought off ebay was WM 22, just Because i Collect them.

I love to watch the PPVs because I have the money ftw lol so I end up watching ANY of them I like the cards off of mostly all of them usually but a few of them here and there* "besides ECW" lately made the mistake of ordering DTD OMG I want my money back. But I will order all of them and watch them just not ECW its $39.95USD here, it use to be $34.95USD but went up right b4 ECW ONS in 06'.

I've literally got every WWE DVD ever released. There's some absolutley appauling DVD's in my collection but I cant help myself. I even buy the Diva one's. If I paid for them on Sky Box Office I would'nt be able to buy them so that's why I dont usually bother.

I tell you all the PPVs ive watched so far I really only recently started with the PPVs @ WM22 only one I hated to death was ECW December To Dismember I was so disgusted by that PPV I vowed to NEVER buy another ECW PPV hosted by WWE again. But @ least they made up for it with that nice add on ladder match at Armageddon. But I will never order ECW, so I will @ least save $80.00USD a year.

I always buy the big four: Royal Rumble (I love the battle royal), WrestleMania (it's the SuperBowl of wrestling), SummerSlam (it's my birthday event (August 29th), I've been to two live, and have seen every single one live on pay-per-view since it's inception), and the Survivor Series (I love the elimination matches).

Other than that, I usually download the other ones. Except for anything with an elimination chamber (except the ECW one, I knew that event would suck).

And I also buy the Taboo Tuesday/Cyber Sundays as I love the unpredictability of the events.

As for TNA, they're all downloads except for Lockdown (I love the all steel cage format).

These days I only pay for TNA events. I've been stiffed by WWE too many times in the past for way too much money to justify plucking down $40-$50 bucks a shot for an events that isn't worth ten. TNA provides the consistency in wrestling quality in their events that I haven't seen since the original ECW events years back. With WWE, if the event sounds good, I'll steal it (or the key match I want to watch), or wait until it's on youtube or I can get a used DVD of it.

i get most of the WWE ppv's...the big 4..WM, Royal Rumble, Summerslam, and Survivor Series...then the RAW ppv's i usually get most of them...i rarely get Smackdown ppv's...and i never get TNA cuz im loyal to WWE.

I like Kasey only pay for TNA events. I rather a good show for 30$ then a show that could be good or bad like a WWE ppv. I wouldn't order the Royal Rumble for many reasons. So far this year NYR was a bad ppv. What tells you Royal Rumble will be any different? Especially for the 40$ price. It's just ridiculous. The Royal Rumble match itself may not even be the traditional main event. So the warm up matches wont even get you warned up because Cena vs. Umaga might be the mai event like they did last year with Henry an Angle.

Also let me break down the under card right now. Cena vs. Umaga is good since its a gimmick match so yeah that has possiblities to be a bonified slobber knocker as JR would say. Batista vs. Mr. Kennedy we seen about 100 times and they gave us that match on a SD! show so cross that out. MNM vs. Hardy Boyz, we have seen already. Plus with Mercury and his injury I doubt it would be as good as the last one. Throw Lashley vs. Test out the window they gave us a non-title match this Tuesaday so it basically makes it boring having to see it again especially when it wasn't up to par.

So there. In conclusion dont order the Royal Rumble. Just download it the next day and order a TNA Pay Per View.

I'm totally a PPV shark.

If my friends/relatives are buying a PPV...I'm there! If not, then screw it. Anyway, IF I had to buy PPVs they would be: Survivor Series, Summerslam, Rumble and Mania.

Back in 98/99/00 my friends and I would purchase all of the WWF PPV's and a few WCW PPV's a year. Now we get Wrestlemania and maybe one other PPV a year.

cos i live in UK, some of the PPVs are free so i justwatch them ones. i never bother buying any as you can download them for free a day later!

See i don't know where i can download them for free, isn't it illegal? And I don't think you can say because its advertising.

Back in the day I got every WWE PPV from WrestleMania2000 to No Way Out 2005. Then me and a friend decided to go in for half the PPV price for the ones that sounded good. Normally all the good ones that we've ordered have been the Big Four PPVs and the Raw-only PPVs. The only Smackdown we've gotten was No Way Out 2006 and that was only b/c it came in the Road to WrestleMania package.

As for TNA if only order two of their 3-hour PPVs, Victory Road '04 and Turning Point '04. I've bought several more on dvd.

Best PPV that I would never miss: WrestleMania and Vengeance(neither seem to have a bad show)

I bought summerslam last year and i was so apauled that they let hulk hogan steal yet another match, 1 year after the Washington screw job on HBK. The actual event wasnt that bad, speshly the ladder match between gurrero and mysterio, its the only match mysterio has been in which i enjoyed! But yea it wasnt a bad card but Hulk hogan pisses me off... And i havnt payed for an event since, i have a ppv subscription with this site that shows all kind of stuff, including all the WWE ppvs, as well as RAW/Smackdown/TNA for something like £6 every 3 months...

You guys that live in the U.S. need to smarten up, go to WWE's website and look in the pay per views part and you can look up Blast Areas where you can go places and pay like a cover charge to get in and watch the shows for free. I think I have only ordered 2-3 WWE pay per views in the last 3 years and have seen most all of them. You can go to like a local movie theater or like Buffalo Wild Wings and pay like 7-10 bucks for them (if you even want food) . It is way smarter than forking over 40 bucks 15 times a year IMO. Just thoght I would throw that out there if people were unaware.

As far as TNA shows go, I miss them, I used to order almost everyone back at home but now I am up at college and have no way of viewing them, makes me mad cuz they put on damn good shows.

There is a bar right down the street that always plays the ppv, no cover charge or nothing. I just order food and drinks and have fun cause of all the other wrestling fans go nuts there....when undertaker won, the whole place went nuts

i usually download or buy the big 4 i saw the great american bash last year x_x then that shitty ecw ppv never again i download such crap stupid ecw writers.Wrestlemania i'm startin a collection of that box set is the best

I normally get the main 4 PPV's and NO WAY OUT.

I like SD! over RAW so I buy the Smackdown ones on DVD and never order them Live.

If a RAW PPV stands out I'll get it usually live

I always buy Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania, pretty much regardless of the cards. A lot of the single brand PPVs are free so I get them, but I had to buy Armageddon, which I'm glad I did.

I really don't know if you can download them LEGALLY for free? If so where? I think that might be advertising actually....
