However when the night is over and the event has passed you are left feeling unsatisfied. What is you least favorite fight card? It could be because the entire card was boring, your favorite fighter or several fighters you like lost or maybe the main event was a big letdown. So please share with us

What is your least favorite UFC PPV and Why?

For myself it has to go to UFC 97, not only was the card in general boring but almost all of my guys lost and the main event was one of the worst in UFC history. Here are the results for the fights that night:

Light Heavyweight bout: Vinicius Magalhães vs. Eliot Marshall
Marshall defeated Magalhães via unanimous decision (30–27, 30–27, 29–28).

Welterweight bout: Ryo Chonan vs. TJ Grant
Grant defeated Chonan via split decision (30–27, 29–28, 28–29).

Lightweight bout: Mark Bocek vs. David Bielkheden
Bocek defeated Bielkheden via submission (rear naked choke) at 4:57 of round 1.

Middleweight bout: David Loiseau vs. Ed Herman
Herman defeated Loiseau via unanimous decision (30–26, 30–27, 30–27).

Middleweight bout: Jason MacDonald vs. Nate Quarry
Quarry defeated MacDonald via TKO (elbows) at 2:27 of round 1.

Middleweight bout: Denis Kang vs. Xavier Foupa-Pokam
Kang defeated Foupa-Pokam via unanimous decision (30–27, 30–27, 30–27).

Light Heavyweight bout: Steve Cantwell vs. Luiz Arthur Cane
Cane defeated Cantwell via unanimous decision (29–28, 30–27, 30–27).

Heavyweight bout: Cheick Kongo vs. Antoni Hardonk
Kongo defeated Hardonk via TKO (strikes) at 2:29 of round 2.

Light Heavyweight bout: Krzysztof Soszynski vs. Brian Stann
Soszynski defeated Stann via submission (kimura) at 3:53 of round 1.

Lightweight bout: Sam Stout vs. Matt Wiman
Stout defeated Wiman via unanimous decision (29–28, 29–28, 29–28).

Light Heavyweight bout: Chuck Liddell vs. Mauricio Rua
Rua defeated Liddell via TKO (strikes) at 4:28 of round 1.

Middleweight Championship bout: Anderson Silva (c) vs. Thales Leites
Silva defeated Leites via unanimous decision (49–46, 48–47, 50–46) to retain the Middleweight Championship.

Before the event came, UFC 97 was expected to be a great card top to bottom and that's what I expected, instead what I got was the taste of defeat and boredom. To start things off the Preliminary bouts were boring in general, the only ones that were any good were Quarry-Macdonald and Herman vs Loiseau, all the others were snoozers. Then my boys Chuck Liddel, Brian Stann and Antoni Hardonk all got finished on the main card, that was a bitter pill to swallow. Finally to top it all off we got to watch Thales("The Turtle" as my friends called him after this) Leites lay on his back for 5 rounds and offer Anderson to lay in his gaurd, one of the worst fights I've ever had to sit through and the fact that it was a five round main event title fight made it even worse. In the end all I got was wins for Herman, Quarry and Wiman, aside from that I felt like UFC 97 had just run up to me on the street and stolen my wallet.

I don't think there has been a whole card I didn't like, but if I had to pick one, it would be UFC 119.

I don't think any of the fights lived up to their potential, least of all the main event. Cro Cop vs Mir was probably the worst fight I've ever seen. It's like they had an unspoken agreement not to hit each other.

I really wasn't a fan of UFC 112. Anderson Silva vs. Demian Maia was a complete disgrace. I can acknowledge that Anderson is a great fighter, but he is also one of the biggest assholes in all of MMA and it really showed in his fight with Maia. Completely disrespectful and just a boring fight. I also really couldn't get into Penn vs. Edgar. I found both of their fights boring, but this one more so. And, Hughes vs. Gracie wasn't worth watching. The rest of the card was really not that bad, but the three main attractions ruined it for me.

Im watching the UFC's in order, so far 7 and 26 come immediately to mind.

Marco Ruas has two boring fights, but shows that fighters have to know grappling and striking to win in the future. Taktarov vs Shamrock wasnt bad but if Oleg had actually fought then it would have been way better. Rest of the card was nothing, and I LOVED UFC 6.

26
Randleman and Rizzo was really bad main event, Randleman facing a striker wanted to punch and since Rizzo froze for the last couple of rounds people were throwing stuff into the cage. The Tyrone Roberts vs. David Dodd fight earlier was the worst of the 20's era, but I forget the fighters names. Those were the last two fights, and that really made the show suffer. Another fight had a guy wearing shoes that kicked his opponent which are against the rules and McCarthy had to end it in DQ.

UFC 61, without a doubt in my mind.

These were the days where I was a MASSIVE Tito Ortiz fan. He was by far my favorite fighter, and I couldn't have been more stoked to see him smash Ken Shamrock. The build-up was so great with the 3rd Season of The Ultimate Fighter, and it was just promised to be the beatdown of a lifetime. However, the fight got stopped super early. I mean, sure, Tito was just going to continue to lay bombs on Shamrock until he was out cold, but the fight shouldn't have been stopped when it was.

Also, while I was expecting a beating, I wasn't expecting the fight to be that short. Literally, all that happened was that Tito took Ken down, hit him with a couple of elbows, and it was over like that. $50 for that?

I guess it would have been okay if the other fights on the card gave us a great show, but that wasn't the case, either.

Tim Sylvia vs. Andrei Arlovski 3 also went down this night, and it was nothing but 25 minutes of pure boredom. Both guys were scared shitless to engage, and it ended up being a fight with nothing but stalling. Horrible.

Frank Mir, who I was also a big fan of at the time, his fight was horrible, Josh Burkman vs. Josh Neer was boring, and Yves Edwards vs. Joe Stevenson was stopped due to a cut, which you never want to see in this sport.

All around just a horrible main card, and a complete waste of money for what was supposed to be at the time the biggest UFC event in history.
