WWE Right Now=Same Ole Shit
I read posts in here, I read threads in here, and I read articles from "expert" wrestling critics on the internet about Paul Heyman being criticized to the breaking point.

First off, Paul Heyman should receive no criticism whatsoever, Paul Heyman was a freaking genius. Paul Heyman introduced Hardcore Wrestling and Quality Wrestling might I add to the nation. I remember the first time I saw ECW, I was young, I was watching WCW and WWF, but what I saw that night was captivating. I saw this man called Sabu hit a front flip over the ropes and to the outside on his opponent and they went into the crowd. I saw suicidal moves and enough to blood to cure any ailing disease.

ECW caught my attention and I never turned back. I witnessed some of the greatest matches in the history of wrestling. Oh yes, I know I'm gonna catch heat, but I really don't care because of the one simple fact is true and will stay this way forever whether anyone likes it or not, HARDCORE WRESTLING ATTRACTS FANS, IT KEEPS THEIR ATTENTION, AND I NEVER, ONCE GOT BORED WITH ECW.

Wrestlers who actually have balls, and hell no their not stupid. They actually want to entertain the fans, instead of what WWE cals entertainment, actual entertainment and WWE piss entertainment are two completely different definitions here. I'll take ECW any day, and forever. Of course, I mean the original ECW, not the piss ant soft, wussy ECW that Vince created.

Paul Heyman built an amazing company and they put on a hell of a show whether it was 10 people or 4000 people. Huge crowds really don't matter to me, It's the product and Heyman and the ECW team produced year after year until they were bullied out by the corporate bastards.

There should not be one hang up or complaint, Paul Heyman is a freaking genius and always will be. The best match in wrestling history still dates back to Terry Funk vs Sabu in a barb wired match. THANK YOU HEYMAN, one of the best displays of wrestling I have ever seen, and if you have never see the match before, check it out.

ECW only had those kind of matches because they had no other choice but to be different. In order to compete with WWE and WCW they had to be a completely separate product so thats what they went with. I'm not knocking Heyman at all in saying this because believe me, I think he is a genius but wrestling doesn't need hardcore. It's better every once in a while to add to its mystique and appeal. If ECW was so great it wouldn't have stayed in the bingo hall. Financially, ECW was unsustainable which is the main reason it fell but it couldn't have been hardcore forever. Eventually it would have had to evolve the same way WCW needed the NWO to evolve (which it didn't, hence why WCW is gone) and WWE needed the Attitude era to evolve (which it did, hence why WWE is still around). Everything in wrestling is relative to the times and the level of competition. Heyman capitalized on that and for that he should be commended but in terms of hardcore, as entertaining as it is it just isn't necessary, especially considering the wrestlers' health.

Heyman was very innovative, he had to think outside the box with storylines and booking matches to try and compete at that time. If you love ecw or hate it, and I believe every wrestling fan will tip their cap to heyman for having such a limited finances, limited roster size for doing what they did. Ecw was a niche. It came about at the right time, and the right era.

I never watched the original so I cannot really comment on Heyman's genius. However I have watched DVDS and youtube videos which would confirm Heyman's genius. He was able to take people like Steve Austin and give them the time to develop a great character. The main thing I can comment on are Heyman's ideas for TNA. When I read a few months ago that TNA was interested in signing Heyman, I was skeptical about the idead. But then I did some research. I found that Heyman was incredible in ECW and incredible on Smackdown. It was his Smackdown tenure that most caught my eye. He was able to take six youngs guys, including Edge and Chris Benoit, and make them the main attractions of the show. This gave me hope that he would do the same to TNA. Then I heard his interview in which he stated his proposed plans for TNA. His vision of TNA was exactly the same as mine and he seemed to be the only person in the industy who truly "gets" what to do with TNA. Had TNA signed Heyman and foccused their TV on the young guys, Victory Road would never had happened, and I believe that people would be able to believe in TNA again. Hopefully TNA sign Heyman now before they go bankrupt.
