What Is JBL's Problem?

The guy obviously had personal ties to Eddie before he died, so why is it that he used a tasteless piece during the Chavo/Mysterio match. It just pisses me off that it has been almost a year and although Eddie is in our hearts, he is still used to sell PPV's (and heat in Chavo's case). I don't know how many times we are going down this root but for the love of his memory please let Eddie rest!!!!!

as much as i agree with you but as long as the creative team and vince see the $ sign by eddies name they'll still use his name and JBL mp waz tld 2 say that by vince neway

I'd be really interested to hear what he said... all I've heard is something about a wagon...

Apparently he wasn't. I'm reading that there was also major heat on him backstage for saying that when Eddie was groomsman for his wedding he had to have extra security to keep him from falling off the wagon. I am totally against this now. At first, it was okay to hear Eddies name linger, but now it is just down right disrespect.

JBL said something like..."Eddie was a groomsman in my wedding...we had to hire extra security to keep him from falling off the wagon."

It was most likely a way for him to get heel heat

i agree and i wouldn't be surprised to hear that whoever was manning the backstage commenting work that night told him to say it

ya think? hahaha...the comment was in poor taste but if they constantly want to keep bringing Eddie back into the storylines they're going to hafta address "both sides" of Eddie for the angle to be effective i guess.

JBL's got money and big skills outside of wrestling, and I think that explains some of his nastiness. Believe me, if you have a good job and you know you don't have anything else to fall back on, you show respect at the workplace. Do you think JBL cares if he gets reprimanded/fired? To quote Stone Cold, "Hell, no!" His remarks were nasty though.

I think many of you are taking what JBL said out of proportions. Maybe it didn't come out right, but to me it was meant to be a light-hearted joke, not a mean-spirited shot at Eddie. I think JBL was making reference to the good times that they had as friends, even though those good times involved "drug and alchohol" abuse. There is no reason to be heavy hearted everyone someone mentions Eddie's name. That's my take on it.

I guess, I'm just sick and tired of them bring up Eddie again and again. It's pretty pointless.

That's not JBL's fault, it's WWE fault. JBL was simply trying to sell what WWE asks him to sell.

i think wrestlers get a kick out of cheap heat, even tho the comment was uncalled for i didnt find it offencive...i respected that he was going for cheap heat and the shock factor and enjoyed it... everyone has the right to be offended but we outsiders to the situation and the comment was pretty funny.

I really dont think commenting on someone who isn't here anymore is good heat... To me after JBL's little comments and being that its Vince Mcmahons idea.... There both lowlifes....
