What if Vince was to die today?

I looked around and noticed that either this has never been done or hasn't been done in awhile and i just didn't go back far enough which is probably the case but in any case What would happen if Vince was to die today where would the WWE go from here?

Lets face it Vince love him or hate him is the reason WWE is still alive he knows good business And thanks to Shane leaving I think if Vince was to die today we could very well see the return of the McMahon Hemsley era or depending on what happens with the elections maybe a return of Linda McMahon to run things either one would be great in my book because a McMahon Hemsley era would maybe bring the return of great wrestling action that we haven't seen in awhile and a Linda McMahon era while its never been done based on her real life outgoing friendly personality we might see a push of guys who has the talent and needs some screen time

What do you guys the wrestlezone community think would happen to the WWE if Vince was to die today?

If Vince McMahon were to die today I don't think alot would happen/change.

There'd be a few sad people, a few tribute videos and episodes of Raw and Smackdown, and the business would most likely be turned over to Stephanie because she's already in an important and high position in the organisation itself.

She'd actually appear on TV and appear at events aswell, unlike Vince. Not that I'm being harsh to the man, but really. I don't think alot would change.

I think he'd be pretty pissed, it's his birthday :L, and I think this has been done a few times, and I always say the same, There would be a memorial show on Raw and probably on Smackdown too, then Hunter and his Mrs would take over, and HHH would become a 56040 time world champion, OK so I over exaggerate slightly but still, you get my point.

You got nothing else to talk about but about someone dying? WTF. Writing and thinking about death is pretty rotten and obviously there would be people who would be devastated about this. Someone put the hammer on this thread....would you like it if someone wrote about if you died?

actually yes yes i would i would want someone to write about how the world would be if i died because it would give me a chance to see what people really think about me

If vince was to pass away today, I think HHH would become GM of Raw or Stephanie Would become GM. Things wouldn't change much possibly we would be ridded of the PG Era? But yes HHH becoming a million time world champion would be likelu wouldn't it?

Sadly there would probably be a few people booking flights to CT—or wherever he would be buried—to dance on the man's grave.
Tastlessness aside, I think Steph and Hunter would be smart enough to try and capitalize on the tragedy and really try to gain a larger audience with the post tribute shows and the like. I have a feeling a lot of people would tune in for the event. Even people who haven't watched since the Attitude Era may give it a look (especially if they could book all the old big names to show up). It would practically be a second Wrestlemania level event (or perhaps hold off and try to have this year's WM a bit early and turn it into a mega tribute show). That said, after the initial shock and awe I don't think the business would change all that dramatically. WWE would still be going strong, TNA would still be playing their second fiddle far off in the distance, and everyone else on the indies would hope that now they may have a slightly better chance making it into WWE or turning a profit (even though that probably wouldn't be the case in either scenario).

God lets hope not. If Vince were to die today it wouldn't surprise me if JR/Shane became major television personalities again, and would run the business on par to what vince did

Honestly I would probably have a mix of happiness and sadness. There would be things I'd miss and some changes that would maybe happen could be for the better, but we might not know until he actually does die. Although if Shane was still in, I would have liked to see how he would run it.
