What if The Runaways never broke up?????

I have been thinking about this for awhile since i saw the Runaways movie and What would the music bussiness be like if the Runaways never broke up. I watched the orginal performance in Japan and they were awesome. The song cherry bomb had awesome guitar cords and a great beat. Cheri was an alright singer, but would we still get Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. Would Cheri died of an OD. What do you think????

The movie was very far off with regards to historical accuracy and characterization. Even Cheri's written memoirs—the basis for the film—have been hotly contested over the ensuing years. Lita Ford in particular has been very critical of Cheri's (and Joan's) accounts. Because of this fact and a host of unpredictable variables it's really hard, if nigh impossible, to say what could've/would've happened for certain.
