What does 'pipebomb' mean?

I have heard this word about 1000 times in the last one year, but couldn't figure out what it means. Google wasn't of much help either. Does it mean a great promo or epic owning/pwnage or something like that?

In Cm Punk terms it means saying something so shocking that the internet explodes in shock and awe of what has just been said. Things trend on twitter when pipe bombs occur.
