Vote of Confidence My Ass

Mac Attack

I'm neat.
The final promo on tonight's Raw has actually made me feel dumb. In all honesty we're talking occasional TNA standards of dumb. I mean really hasn't everyone had a bad boss at one point in time? I have, and I sucked it up. In a company where the goal is to beat the living hell out of someone and they're claiming it is too dangerous to work. Utter bullshit. What annoys me even more is where the hell was the actual vote? Nobody ever said all those who propose Triple H's COO reign leave the arena. Fuck it annoyed me and yet I'm still going to watch because I want to see something big happen that should have happened this week.

I which someone thought that promo out, because what was a good show in terms of wrestling has left me feeling dumb in the end. Great!

This is exactly how they want you to react.

Who taught you how to cut a Triple H promo?

Well it is the reality era now and because of it I can see something like this happening. Of course its a combat business where people fight all the time, I agree with that but at the same time in a real business all of it should happen in the ring or between fellow wrestlers, since The Miz and R-Truth (who are "fired") came in and beat up Cena, Del Rio, Punk, the refs, the camera crew in the brutal way they did I can see backstage employees being afraid. It wasn't people who worked for the company (well it was but you know what I mean) it was fans and if a couple of real fans legitimately came in and started beating the talent up with lead pipes its perfectly logical they would be worried.

In the Attitude era it was different, this is the reality era so the storyline can have a little more leeway when it comes to stuff like that.

I will say though I understand where you are coming from, its just a different time and era and if 2 fans came into a UFC fight and started beating up GSP and Rampage with a lead pipe I'm sure they would second guess coming to work and there would be lawsuits up the ass.

Did anyone else think Beth Phoenix was Stephanie McMahon talking last night before they showed it was Beth Phoenix on camera? I got super excited that she was going to come out and have a power trip, then they panned to Beth and I stopped caring about the whole story again

I thought it was Steph too. Especially since she was calling him Hunter, which I don't think Beth really knows him well enough to do, at least not in kayfabe...

Thanks for clearing it. :) I kept thinking that i have heard that voice somewhere. It was weird to hear her call HHH as 'Hunter'. Also, she seems better on the mic that a lot of the guys!!

yeah and HOLY FUCK wasn't Wade Barrett great on the mic, last night he showed me some real talent on the stick... too bad he lacks it in the ring

If I were a pro wrestler I sure as hell wouldn't want to go to work knowing I could get injured and miss some bookings, especially if it were at the hands of a disgruntled former employee. Have you ever had something like this happen to you but with a gun? That shit ain't cool, dude.

They WANT the audience to think it's bullshit. They WANT the audience to draw comparisons to other times when the roster wasn't pussy enough to walk out. Triple H mentioned the same damn comparison himself. That is exactly the response they're looking for.

Now that's just silly.

I know this is the Spam Zone, but you could at least try to come up with something substantive to say.
