Kyle Christiansen/James Baker v Chief Anoki/USA v Phoenix/Garth Black v Ace David/Big Dave v TM/David Cougar

(Incidentally, if any of you guys can come up with a tag team name, that would be nice)

RP Deadline is Monday 13th March at 23:59.

The setting is in the streets of Compton, California where WZCW Interviewer Becky Serra is interviewing James Baker who is accompanied by a huge african american male.

Becky- Hello fans. At WZCW Unscripted there will be a four way tag team match for the vacant WZCW Tag Team Championship. The competitors will be "Da Xtreme Gangsta" James Baker teaming up with Kyle Christiansen to face off against USA & Anoki, Phoenix & Gath Black & Ace David & Big Dave. Now I am standing here with "Da Xtreme Gangsta" James Baker who is being accompanied by an unknown person. James what are your thoughts on the tag team match?

James- Yo check this. You see me & my tag team partner Kyle Christiansen will shine at Unscripted cause we are facing off against 3 below average tag teams. Now allow me to analyze all my opponents. We already know that Phoenix & Garth Black are pretty average individuals & together they are even worse of a tag team. Ace David seems like he is a creepy indvidual. He thinks he is the card player of the damn roster. Big Dave well I don't particulary know him but I give you your props on having ability but that alone won't cut it when your in the ring with me.

Becky- James. May I ask you one question?

James- Yeah for sure ask away.

Becky- Who is the guy that you talked on the phone weeks back.

James- Damn I thought we went through this already. Well anyways I can't hide the suprise much longer. You see the guy i've been talking to on the phone is the man standing beside me. Me & him grew up together. He killed, stole & hustled his way to survive just like I did & now he is a highly successful sports agent as he represents alot of top athletes in sports today. Here you go big man introduce yourself to the people.

Malik Jones- I am Malik Jones. A sports representative for some of the top players in professional sports. You see when James came here to WZCW. He asked me to be his agent. I agreed & we both decided to make a suprise out of all this. Unscripted was the time I would make my appearance cause I wanted to be there to support & help James win his first championship here in WZCW & solidify his name here. The other three teams do not stand a chance against James & Kyle Christiansen. I promise you the result of the match & new WZCW World Tag Team Champions will be my client "Da Xtreme Gangsta" James Baker & Kyle Christiansen & you can take all of that to the bank.

The camera then goes away as James Baker & Malik Jones then go inside a car & drive away.

Reactions: Lee
The camera pans from the ring to the top of the entrance ramp. There are few lights on and there is no one in the arena. Silence.

Slowly a figure walks out from behind the stage and looks up… It’s Ace David. He’s wearing his usual black tights with yellow spades around the legs. His vest is undone and his hair is tied back.

Ace: Hello.

Ace smiles.

Ace: Last week, Big Dave and I won our way in to the tag title match at Unscripted. Now, if you had been keeping track, this was out first match as a team… And we won. When I hit that Rock Out on Showtime Cougar last week I knew I was a small step away from gold. And with a partner like Dave, I know 100% that those belts will be around our waists by the time we walk out of Unscripted.

Ace starts to pace back and forth, still at the top of the ramp. He takes out the hair band and stares into the camera.

Ace: Now, as for our opponents Baker & Christiansen, Anoki & USA, Phoenix & Black and… of course…. TM & Cougar. You are all worthy adversaries. Otherwise you wouldn’t be in this match but let me make one thing clear. I have wanted WZCW gold since I was a kid. I have never stopped short of reaching the top in anything I do. I make the most of my opportunities and always…

Ace smiles and looks back to the stage entrance.

Ace: … get what I want.

As Ace finishes talking Big Dave comes out with his hoody on. He stands next to Ace and places a hand on his shoulder.

Big Dave: Nice work. Now for all the doubters and unbelievers who were surprised that we won last week, to all the fans who were behind TM & Cougar. To all the faithless that think that any of the others will beat us and especially to our opponents. I have one very simple message. Pray.

Big Dave takes off his hood and looks at Ace, then turns back to the camera.

Big Dave: Pray to your… God, that we aren’t as good as we are, that we aren’t as talented as we appear. Pray for a miracle to stop us, because as Ace has already advised you, we are winning at Unscripted. And we will win significantly. There is no power, no unforseen force that can stop us.

Big Dave smiles for the first time in this promo.

Big Dave: We are walking out WZCW Tag Team Champions and there is NOTHING anyone or anything can do to stop it, it is how you say, inevitable.

Ace: Great speech there buddy.

They both crack into a smile.

Ace: Well, now that our opponents know what they’re in for we have some time for a drink.

Big Dave: Sounds good man.

They turn to leave.

Ace: Maybe a game of cards, bet you we win at Unscripted?

Big Dave: Those odds are too amazing in your favour Ace, no way I could win that bet.

Ace: Yeah, I guess your right.

They both laugh as they leave.

Ace throws a deck of cards over his shoulder as they disappear behind the curtain at the top of the ramp. The deck lands and scatters across the floor. All the cards are face down, except a solitary ace of spades.

The Day Before Unscripted - A Field at Midnight.

Anoki lies back in the tall grass. He gazes up. The sky is clear tonight, the stars shine brightly. The golden orb of the full moon rains down silver light upon the young man’s face. Slowly eyes close, and in a dream like state, he begins to speak.

Anoki: The moon is full again tonight. One cycle past since when my quest began, chasing the light of my guiding star. Where has the light taken me?

Pull back. Reveal more of the field. It is the same grassland from which Anoki delivered his first speech.

Anoki: Today’s world is much akin to the one I left. A den of violence and hatred, vultures hanging overhead to pick the bones on my broken body. One thousand voices struggling to be heard, fighting to exist. Perhaps he who wanders alone, chasing an unknown destination, is destined to be hinted all the way…

The voice trails off. The young boy lies perfectly still, dead to the world. Moments pass. The monologue continues, this time as a voice over, the tone is now more decisive.

Anoki: Tomorrow, the hunt comes to an end. I have been chased to the den, and the den is bared with stakes. I find myself no longer running alone, but with a stranger alongside. I do not trust in the kindness of strangers… I don’t know when he will run, or turn and fight. For how long will be continue by my side, or will he turn away to run towards his own star. In the pit a stranger was an enemy, and as best I try to change that mind… some things do not forget easily.

Anoki: Am I here because I was chasing my star, or have I been driven here by my demons? I fight and they cheer… then forget about me. Is this the path a chose?

Anoki: No! Doubt must lie behind me now. Tomorrow I fight not just for life, but for purpose. At unscripted I have the change to do something beyond exist, and such a chance must be taken. I will not sell my soul to strangers again, but that is not to say that I will lie down and let meaning be taken from me. Sh… They… … I might mean little to few tonight, but every step I take alone to road brings me closer into focus.

Anoki: Pain and doubt are good for any time. At Unscripted, battle is joined.

The voice over concludes. Anoki is sound asleep. The camera pulls away further. Anoki is lost under the long grass. The camera revolves to display the boundaries of the field. It is an area of grassland beside a main road. A vandalized children’s play area is off to one side. Tower blocks can be seen in the distance. The view spirals up to fix on the sky… the moon and stars are still visible against the night sky. Gradually they fade out, and the picture goes to black.

At Meltdown 21

(We see David Cougar march angrily through the curtain, showing the slightest bit of limp in his step and a developing black eye under his left one. He looks ready to explode at any moment as Johnny Klamour approaches)

Klamour: Showtime, Johnny Klamour here. Glad to finally meet you.

Cougar: No autographs.

Klamour: No no, of course not. I just wanted to ask you a few questions.

Cougar: No interviews either.

Klamour: Now look kid, I know your upset, but it's my job to interview the wrestlers and that's what I'm here to do. Now, I just wanted to ask you about your promises you made last week?

Cougar: I SAID NO INTERVIEWS!!!

(Cougar then fakes a punch at Klamour, holding back at the last second as Klamour falls to the floor. Klamour gets up and starts running as Cougar grabs a chair and throws it in Klamours direction, coming up short)

Cougar: Yeah you better run Klamour. Turn that fucking camera off. Give it here.

(Cougar violently grabs the camera from the camera man and throws it against a wall. The lens cracks and static lines shoot across the screen. Cougar's feet are still in view as it lies on the floor. Cougar begins to walk away before turning and kicking the camera square in the lens. Static fills the screen before turning to black.

3 days after Meltdown 21

(Screen shot of a TV. On the TV is one of Cougars promos from before Meltdown 21)

[Cougar: The Show is used to the millions of eyes watching him, he's used to the spotlight pouring down and the weight it puts on all of our thoughts and minds and he remains unfazed by it. The two of you on the other hand will be fazed by it...

Ladies and Gentleman, I am the Show, but you already knew that. See you at Meltdown 21.

End of Act One
]

Clap, clap, clap, clap.

(The camera turns upon the sound and we see Cougar sitting in his leather chair. His black eye is still visible and his facial expressions still appeared angered, but he looks calmer and more relaxed now.

Cougar: Wonderful, simply wonderful. And Bateman loved it too. He came across Becky watching it last week and asked her who made it. She was found speechless upon watching it, probably so in-trance by my performance that she couldn't find the words to sum up its greatness. Anyway, Bateman came to me about it, Trademark helped promote and fund it and now we have "The Ringmaster: Showtime edition", A Showtime-Trademark Production. We all agreed The Ringmaster was a better title than The Ring 2, and in under 1 full week it is already the number one sold item on WZCW.com. I owe a special thanks to Ace and Dave for... inspiration.

Viewers, nothing I can say can rectify what I did after Meltdown. It was uncharacteristic of me and in no way showed the proper behaviour that you should expect from stars like me. So without further ado, the very first guest on The Show. Ladies and Gentleman, Johnny Klamour

(Klamour comes out and sits in an identical leather chair right next to Cougar)

Cougar: Klamour, I would just like to apologize for my... well... for you teeing me off as you did last week. It was way out of line for you and now I would like to present you with the opportunity to sit down and interview the Made for TV superstar, Showtime David Cougar.

Klamour: Thanks Cougar. Now firstly, after watching all your promos you've made since arriving with this company, I was blown away and dying to interview the man who says he will change the face of TV. I finally managed to beat Becky to the punch on this one as she still hasn't said much since watching your DVD, great stuff by the way. Now my first question, after all the promises you've been making since your arrival now, I just want to now what happened out there last Meltdown?

Cougar: Johnny, I could come up with a million reasons as to why I lost at Meltdown; the light was in my eyes, I ate something bad, my gang wasn't there to back me up, my cards weren't right, my marine training failed, what I got in my suitcase let me down. These are excuses that my opponents would give, but I'm going to be the bigger man here and not give you excuses. I lost and that's all there is to it. It just wasn't written in the script for me.

But you know how that is Klamour. The audience is always left disappointed. The things they wanted, don't always ever happen. The networks, the big wigs, the producers, they want to store up all the build and all the drama and save it for one big show. I don't want to spoil it all now for my viewers, but that big show could be at our next Pay Per View.

Klamour: Very well, now back to Meltdown. It appears Ace David and Big Dave did a little number on your face. What are your thoughts on that?

Cougar: I said I had no excuses for my match, that still doesn't change the fact that I was viciously assaulted by those two during the match. A normal man wouldn't be sitting here Klamour, he'd be in a hospital bed trying to scramble all his thoughts back together. Ace and Big are nothing but jealous and afraid of me and they made that very clear in the match, attacking and targeting nothing but my head in hopes I would suffer a concussion. You see this black eye, I got booted right on it, punched directly from behind in the back of the head and driven hard to the mat and enziguried right across the left side as well.

They should be fined and suspended for trying to end the career of WZCWs shining star.

Klamour: Now, despite the loss, Bateman still put you and Trademark in the tag title match happening at Unscripted, your thoughts?

Cougar: Like I said last week, Bateman's no fool. He wants WZCW's tag team champions to truly represent WZCW and what better team than Showtime-Trademark Productions. The things me and Trademark excel at, star power and making money, are exactly what this companies want its champions to be. We are the future of WZCW and the future begins for us at Unscripted.

Klamour: Final question, what can we look for from the Show at Unscripted?

Cougar: Well Klamour, remember when I told you that at Meltdown it just wasn't written in the script for me?

As a person who was born to work in front of a camera, I've had to follow scripts my whole life. Well now I am sick of following scripts and waiting for the right moment to rise to the top that I should already be at. I'm taking matters into my own hands and not giving a damn what the script says, I will be writing my own future from here on out.

How ironic then it is that the title of our upcoming Pay Per View is called Unscripted. Things are going to get pretty unpredictable in this match, and unlike what I did to you 3 days ago Klamour, I won't be holding back any punches against my opponents. The things I will be doing to my opponents could not even be written down on any script. I will make them bleed more red than the auto industry has been seeing in recent months. And I will walk out the match, Winner.

Klamour: Anything else you'd like to add?

Cougar: Just one more thing. Ladies and Gentleman, I am The Show. Your next WZCW Tag Team Champion.

USA is all alone on a beach. We pull back to see a ship wreck.

USA:When a team works together, goals are achieved. When it doesn't.....

USA points to the shipwreck.

USA:Now, Anoki and I have achieved goals together before. The question is, what are out goals? My goal is to rid WZCW of villains like James Baker. A man who acts with malice, like a terrorist, must be beaten. Surely, Anoki's quest involves fighting for good. Baker is an enemy to all that is good, and the enemy of my enemy will be my friend.

The camera pans to some children running in the sand.

USA: These children seem so happy. Their ignorance truly is their bliss. So many nations throughout history have been blissful of their ignorance. The Spanish felt their Armada was invincible. They were blissful in their ignorance. So many other teams feel just as blissful. But just like this galleon behind me, they will taste all of the old and all of the new that that the great US of A has to give. A chief and a Marine make a great team. Iron and Arrows, hatchets and bayonets, spears and bullets, all of these weapons built into us from birth. Destiny and aggression will rule the day. Don't ask if we a re a mismatched team. Don't question our loyalty.

The camera zooms into USA, waves crash behind him.

USA:Listen to me Ace, listen to me Baker, listen to me all of you. We have begun to have our own battles and will continue to have them. But rest assured, in this tag title match, there is but one outcome to expect. The real American protectors will claim gold, and rid this organization of the evil and the terror.

Fade to black.

The camera fades in greyscale to see a hooded guy sitting in the spotlight, arms crossed in his lap. He lifts his head to show it’s Big Dave. A faint heartbeat is heard over. Dave looks towards the camera

Tonight, it’s the PPV debut of the Full House Daves, and we’re not the only team debuting

Whether it’s a single fall, elimination rules or a ladder match, it truly doesn’t matter. The only thing that matters is…

Dave stands up, the screen returns to normal colour, Ace walks into the shot.

AD/BD: …that we remain a team

Two Hours Before Unscripted - Backstage

Anoki and USA wait together. And awkward silence echoes between the two. These two men hold little in common, bar a burning desire to win. Tonight they will run the gauntly together. Each man prepares his head in silence.

Klamor arrives. And interview has been scheduled. He looks both men up and down, USA steps forward, Anoki shrinks away.

Klamor: So you boys are a team now then?

USA: Better believe it.

Klamor: Competing for titles... and you much have had, what, all of eight minutes worth of experience together?

USA Smiles.

USA: I think you'll agree that it was a pretty impressive eight minutes.

Klamour frowns. He turns to Anoki.

Klamor: You. Boy wonder. Got any poetry for us tonight?

Anoki scowls. He looks down at his feet.

Anoki: No.

Klamor: All right then, let’s do this.

He motions to the camera crew, and speaks with slow deliberance.

Klamour: USA. Anoki. Tonight you face off against four other teams in an elimination tag match for the vacated tag team titles. Surely you'll agree that the odds are against you tonight?

USA: What makes you say that Klamor?

Klamor: Well you've got little experience as a tag team. You're both green. You’re out numbered. And you’re facing a lot of guys who don't like you very much. I don't think it takes an Einsteiniun intellect to calculate that you two have got your work cut out for y...mmmph

USA raised his hand, gently covering the man’s mouth.

USA: You don't have a clue what you're talking about Klamor.

Klamor: Excuse mmmph.

USA: You talk about odds... math’s... you make it sound like we're outnumbered. Well let me tell you something Klamor. When Anoki and I match through that curtain tonight, we don't march alone. No, we march out to battle with every single one of our fans, from the greatest nation on earth, marching by out sided. Klamor, we might be outflanked, but with them backing us up, we will never be out gunned.

Klamor finally pushes USA's hand away.

USA: Ah ah ah, don't talk yet. You talk about our experience... I say "so what?", We've fought together before, and we were united in victory. I may not know my partner as well as I would like, but what I do know is that Anoki has overcome adversity in every match, and has walked away victorious every time. I might not be on his Christmas card list yet, but you can bet your ass he knows that I...

Anoki: Hold.

His voice is quite, his tone soft, but it brings the big man to silence.

Anoki: He's right.

USA: What?

Anoki: Klamor. The man is correct.

Anoki at lasts steps level with his partner.

Anoki: I don't know you, and you don't know me. We don't know the men we're fighting, but we do know that there are more of them than us. The stone and the sea stand strong alone, but together they crumble. Let us not turn from the truth. Tonight we fight outnumbered, against opponents who know us better than we know one another. We fight in a corner, with a target on our heads and destiny in our hands. Success and failure lay there to be taken, but they lay by the wayside of a road marked survival.

Klamor looks to USA

Klamor: Do you understand what the hell he's talki... mmmph

USA silences his again. Anoki continues.

Anoki: Our backs are two the wall, and there are so many things we don't know. We wander lost, questing to be the panicle of competition, but to reach the peek, we will have to climb a mountain of bodies. The journey will not be safe, and it will not be easy.

USA: And if you give up now then we've already lost!

Anoki stops. Frowns. The remark did not sit well.

Anoki: USA. I don't give up.

USA: Well then...

Anoki: I don't even know your name.

USA: Ulysses, but...

Anoki: Well then Ulysses, tonight we fight the battle of our lives. For our lives. Every adversity imaginable will be thrown in out path. I don't know about you, but I've been walking the path of adversity since I took my first steps. It won’t be easy, but if you're walking with me, then I give you my word that I will not turn aside for another night.

USA: You sound like a Marine, and when Marines go to battle, we live by two words, Semper Fi!

Anoki: Always faithful...

USA: Our cause tonight is bigger that the tag team titles. Belts and gold tend to get in the way of what men like you and me fight for. Honor, respect, truth, and justice. We may not know each other's favorite color, but we do know that we stand for the same values, and that will bond us for the fight ahead of us, tonight, and beyond. I stand by you Chief because I know that you want to fight evil the same way I do, and that is enough for me.

Klamor fumes. They have forgotten he is there.

Klamor: Are you two done? Can I get my Interview now?

USA: No. Cummon Chief, let’s get ready.

They depart.

Voice from behind the camera: I thought that was pretty good Johnny.

Klamor: Grrr.

He leaves.

Garth Black is roaming around backstage. He bumps into Becky Serra who sticks the microphone in front of him. He immediately wrestles the microphone off her and takes it for himself, he then turns to the camera and begins to talk.

Every single week I come here and you ask me stupid inane questions, and frankly, I've had enough, so it's time to reverse roles. Do you understand?

Errr...Yeah, I guess.

Great. Do you know what the implications of having a pentagonal ring?

Yes, it means that there will be five teams contending for the tag team titles instead of four.

I was searching for something a little deeper there, but yes. Both myself and Phoenix will have to overcome 4 teams before we become the champions. What are your views on each of our opponents?

Firstly, there's Christiansen and Baker. I think they are...

Let me just stop you there. Baker and Christiansen claim they are from the streets, they claim that they have fought they're way up, but they have done no such thing. There's nothing remotely intimidating at all about them, they walk the walk and they talk the talk, its just a shame that the walk in question has a limp and the talk has a lisp. You know?

Not re...

So, what do you think of our other opponents, say, Anoki and USA.

They're all-Americans who go to the ring and...

fail to see the irony in their predicament?

That wasn't what I was going to say.

Garth pauses a second, and then continues, completely ignoring what she says.

So what you're saying is that the pentagon is supposedly the bastion of defence for the American people. It is suppose to be what protects them, but not here. I think you're probably right on that one. We will fight them on the ropes, we will fight them on the ring apron and to the ring mat, we will never surrender. But they will. Anoki will succumb to the pain that I inflict on him, and all USA will be able to give thanks for will be for Anoki getting pinned and the pain to end.

You're putting words in my mouth!

I don't think I could fit them in there, your foot appears to be in the way. If you don't like my interview style, you can always walk off, but don't expect to get your microphone back.

But I need it!

Looks like your staying then. So tell me what you think about the Daves?

Big Dave is a really nice guy and Ace David is a bit of a player but they get the job done.

Big Dave is nothing but a nice guy, you're right. And nice guys get walked on, I see what you're saying. Big Dave is a big deadweight and will only be there crying, powerless to prevent what happens when Ace David puts their lot on red, but it comes up Black.

Look, you are really twisting what I'm saying. I don't want you to say anything bad about TM and Cougar and say that I said it, because I haven't said anything bad about them.

But you've said bad things about other teams, Becky, you're not picking favourites are you? You aren't enamoured with their cocky attitudes are you? Are you a closeted Canadian sympathiser? Seriously, why do you think this pair are better than anybody?

I did't say that.

So you're saying that they aren't better than anbody?

No, they aren't.

So anybody is better than Tm and Cougar? We're anybody, so I guess you have picked us to win.

I didn't say that! Tell the others I didn't say that!

So you're saying we will lose? That isn't very professional.

No, I'm not saying that.

This is an elimination match. If we don't lose, and you said we wouldn't, then we have to win don't we?

Becky looks confused and just wants the predicament to be over. He looks at the camera

So, folks Becky Serra says that Garth Black and Phoenix are her pick to win tonight's tag team title elimination match. I'm sure she will be right. Back to you, guys.

Kyle Christiansen is on a bridge. He is leaning over the edge, looking at the body of water. It is night. He walks away from the edge and picks up a briefcase, the same briefcase he has been carrying for weeks. Then a limo pulls up. Four guys in masks get out. All of them are well built. They walk up to Christiansen.

Guy 1: You know you have failed. That agreement we made all them years ago, It's nothing now. You can no longer call yourself a member of our gang. And I take it you know what that means. You don't get out and survive.

Kyle: I know.

The rest of the guys are cracking their knuckles.

Guy 1: Well then I take it you know what we have to do.

Kyle: You can try.

He hits the first guy with the briefcase and he falls to the floor. The rest of them immediately jump on Kyle. They stomp on him while he's on the ground. He tries to battle back to his feet but the one of them gives him a kick to the ribs. The first guy gets up and punches Christiansen in the back of the head. One guy goes back to the limo. Two of the others hold Kyle up and the other kicks him in the face. The other guys come back from the limo with a lead pipe. While the other three are holding him he takes a swing. Suddenly though he is blindsided by. James Baker, Christiansen's partner has arrived. He picks up the lead pipe and hits the rest of the three guys out cold. He picks Kyle to his feet.

Kyle: Thanks.

Baker: No problem.

They walk to Baker's car. Kyle is limping. The car drives away, towards the arena.

To be continued

The car pulls into the arena. Christiansen and Baker get out.

Baker: Becky Serra is looking to interview you.

Kyle: Okay.

The two men go their separate ways. Kyle quickly runs into Becky.

Becky: I've been looking for you. Do you have time for an interview?

Kyle: Of course.

Becky: Well tonight, is arguably, the biggest match of your career. It may also be the most difficult. How do you plan on dealing with four other teams?

Kyle: Becky, it doesn't matter if there were twenty other teams. None of them possess my skill.

Becky: Last week, Anoki defeated you.

Kyle: Last week I was off my game. But I step up when the pressure counts. (He takes a deep breath, sore from the earlier attack) You see, Baker and I have already beaten one of the teams, Phoenix and Black. So you can rule them out. Big Dave and Ace David, I don't know. They hardly seem like a threat. TM and whats his name, Cougar, they were lucky to even be in the match. Now that brings us down to one more team. USA and Anoki. This may be difficult. Me and My partner have never beaten them. But I think, with the right motivation we can win this.

Becky: Well Kyle you don't have long before the match starts. It would have been longer but you were late. So just one more question. What's in the briefcase?

Kyle: Becky, I think you can find out when everybody else does. Everyone will find out, right after me and Baker win the titles
.

He walks away with a slight limp holding the briefcase as the scene fades.

The scene opens with Phoenix standing in the foreground, wearing blue face paint on the left side of his face, and red on the right side. Behind him is a huge fire engulfing the entire back of the screen. He has an intense look on his face, and doesn’t seem to notice the fire behind him. As he begins to speak, the flames jump even higher.

In mythology, a phoenix is the immortal bird of fire. No matter the tradition, the phoenix dies once every thousand years by bursting into flame in a nest it built to die in. As the fire continues to burn, the bird and its nest are reduced to a smoldering pile of ashes. From these ashes, the phoenix is reborn and continues in a brand new chapter of its life. It is the same bird, but at the same, it is completely different. It is from this mythical creature that I took my name. After the accident, I was reborn as Phoenix. Jake died that day. I am the same person, but completely different.

Phoenix turns his back to the camera, and looks at the flames for a moment. He turns back to the camera, his face indicating that he was in deep thought. He then begins to smile and begins to speak again.

I have just been reborn again. I came to WZCW thinking I would walk all over the roster and become champion in no time. (pauses) I…I was wrong. I underestimated the talent here, and I made a fool of myself. My mission, however, has not changed. I am still here to save the other guys in that locker room from themselves. I have finally connected with someone, someone who will listen to my message and respect me. Now, I have reborn as one half of the new WZCW Tag Team Champions. I mean, lets look at the guys we will be facing. We’ve got Christiansen and Baker whose only accomplishments in life are surviving “tha streetz.” The Daves are just weird and will be an insult to any belt in WZCW while Anoki and USA will be too busy fantasizing about bringing criminals to justice to be a threat. And as for those other two, TM and Cougar, they just lost to Anoki and USA, so they definitely cannot be any threat to us.

Nothing makes you stronger than adversity. Garth and I have gone through more than our fair share of adversity. From him walking out on me, to us beating the living hell out of each other, to him standing up for me and taking on Red Mask. None of these teams have gone through anything like this. We now know we can trust each other. And all of these pathetic excuses for wrestlers will realize this when we walk out of Unscripted the WZCW Tag Team Champions.

Phoenix turns and looks at the flames again. He picks something off the ground and throws it into the fire. As soon as the item hits the edge of the inferno, it explodes. Flames shoot everywhere, and the audience losses sight of Phoenix. A few seconds after the explosion, the fire disappears, revealing that Phoenix has disappeared as well. The screen then fades to black.

From TM:

Becky arrives at a state of the art sports complex owned by Trademark. She is hoping to get an interview with him before his match at Unscripted tonight. She enters the building and proceeds to the big gym doors, which are locked with a big sign saying "do not disturb." Through the glass window we see 5 rings with wrestlers in them in. In the ring closes to the door, we see TM standing in the ring with one other man and four others standing on the ring apron. A small crowd has gathered to watch as Trademark quickly and efficiently takes down each opponent one by one via pinfall or tossing over the ropes and to the floor. Trademark then addresses the crowd and one by one, they slowly make there was into a back changing room. Shortly after, Trademark leaves dressed in a black suit with a towel around his neck, flanked by two men carrying his bags. He walks through the gym doors as Becky approaches.

Becky: Trademark, I was hoping I could ask you a few questions before you match tonight at Unscripted?

Trademark: I'm very busy and in a hurry so you'll have to be quick. Come.

Trademark and Becky leave the gym to a waiting limo, the driver lets Becky and Trademark in and close the door and starts driving.

Becky: That is a very nice gym you own.

Trademark: It is but one of 12 I own. As a very powerful business man, I am on the road lots. I own gyms in many of the cities I frequently am in.

Becky: We haven't seen much of you since Meltdown 21, what have you been up to?

Trademark: Training. The heart of a warrior never gives up, and the will of a business man is that of absolute obsession over his craft. I've been in the gym everyday, growing faster and stronger with every workout. I've paid off numerous scouts and agents to send me information on all my opponent tonight, their strengths, their weaknesses, and what to expect. I have been studying the notes carefully, so there will be no surprises in my match, only absolute victory by myself and Showtime.

Becky: All those people in the gym, are they your students?

Trademark: As powerful as one man can be, he knows that he can not form a great empire without many subjects. I train others to dominate in places where I can't be. If you look closely at many of the independent circuits around the world you will see that I have left my Trademark on many of them, through my subjects. WZCW I have decided to take on personally, and I assure you Becky, that as my subjects slowly run and rule the other organizations, I too will run and reign supreme in WZCW.

Becky: All of the teams you will be facing tonight have really shown to be bonding quite well. I don't think I've seen you and Showtime together outside a ring. How have you and Showtime bonded?

Trademark: Me and him have bonded on a business and a personal level. Personal, for the same goals we have. To rule the land of WZCW, to be its biggest stars and hold its biggest titles. Business for all the money and drawing power that we will make in WZCW. Showtime has the potential to be the biggest star in WZCW and am going to cash in on that and take him to the top with me. Showtime-Trademark Productions will be the biggest thing in WZCW and it starts tonight at Unscripted.

The limo stops in front of the arena Unscripted will be held. The driver opens the door and Trademark steps out followed by Becky. Meeting them outside the limo is Showtime David Cougar. Becky is speechless as Showtime and Trademark shake hands and continue towards the arena.

Cougar: It's Showtime tonight Trademark.

Trademark: It sure is. Showtime-Trademark Productions. WZCW's newest tag team champions.
