Since in the Wrestling Spam Zone there seems to be a thread that is doing pretty well on unpopular opinions I thought why not have a media related one. I'll start.

Robert Rodríguez is a better director than Quentin Tarantino

Limp Bizkit are musically better than some bands people claim to be 'better'

I don't see the big deal about Final Fantasy

Call of Duty bores the shit out of me.

No Holds Barred is one of the most entertaining movies out there.

John C. Reilly is funnier than Will Ferrell and Walk Hard is better than any Will Ferrell movie out there.

Even after almost 30 years no gaming system can touch the NES (maybe not unpopular but its a common debate I have).

Although still awesome, Led Zeppelin is overrated which is evidenced by the fact they stole most of their music only to pass it off as their own.

They're both self-indulgent and Tarantino is certainly overrated. But other than applauding Rodriguez for the few entertaining films he's done and his ability to get good actors into his nothing films, I'm not sure how he's a good director. From Dusk Till Dawn/Desperado/Spy Kids were a long time ago, he co-directed Sin City and even then it was taken almost exactly off a page, now all he does is direct crummy kids films and inexplicably boring exploitation homages.

Duck Dynasty made me hate Wal*Mart more than I ever have.

Doctor Who is more in-depth and has aged better than Star Wars and Star Trek have.

People that moan about Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga's acts must not remember Britney Spears and David Bowie. They aren't that controversial.

I genuinely don't see the appeal of Minecraft. And I have played.

Fuck Bran for not listening to his mother thus resulting in the deaths of most of his family.

I like Psy even if I don't understand a word he is saying.

I didn't care for Lost and gave up on it before Season Two.

The O.C. should have had more than 4 seasons.

And finally,

Every Pokémon RPG to come out has been fun and people that say Gen 1 was better suffer from Golden Age Nostalgia.

Nintendo are pretty shit. They do not much more than rape existing franchises that coax by their name, anytime they ever do something else it's shit. see: Wonderful 101 and Pikmin. Their fanbase are always so insanely loyal its crazy.

If it weren't for Zelda they'd be definitely shit

Independence Day and Waterworld are both good films and fun as hell. I'd give both 4/5 stars, if I were into that sort of thing. I only know that critics hate them, what you common scum think is irrelevant, so therefore it is an unpopular opinion.

I don't get GTA. I liked the top down games but nothing since 3.

I liked Planet Terror and Machete.

I'd say he's a better director because I feel he has a bit more range than Tarantino. Tarantino is good at what he does but Rodriguez can do it and other things as well.

GTA V was extremely average in every sense of the word and felt like a chore to finish by the end of it.

The Last Of Us deserved around an 8.3 instead of all the 10/10s it got - but it's still the best game that came out this year by a country mile.

I don't understand the appeal of Zelda games.

Gens 2 and 3 of pokemon are the worst in the series.

All the assassins creed games are terrible.

One for you anime fans out there: I couldn't finish Attack on Titan because watching it was making me want to smash my head into a wall.

Scrubs, How I Met Your Mother and Family Guy are all equal levels of "meh"

The Avengers is by far a better Superhero movie than The Dark Knight/and or Rises.

I'm three episode into the 2010 version of Doctor Who and I also don't get it, I'll try again later on but I don't see the appeal.

The Walking Dead is the most overrated cable television series ever. In fact since season 2 it's been incredibly average and infuriating. Just goes to show how social media really can brainwash people into thinking something is good.

Any show with a laugh track is automatically not funny.

FXX or whatever has the best comedies on all of cable.

I'll think of more later, there's a lot of shit people hype up around here.
