The first show on Fuel is right around the corner and it will contain a pivotal Welterweight bout between Diego Sanchez and Jake Ellenberger. Both are very exciting fighters who are on the title hunt and are on good runs. Sanchez has been on a great roll since his loss to John Hathaway and Ellenberger is coming off of a great win over Jake Shields. Both guys have good striking and solid wrestling. This should be a fun fight.

Struve vs. Herman is another exciting fight between very talented Heavyweight fighters who almost always put on fun fights. Struve is a very well rounded fighter, whereas Herman is a strong striker and wrestler. I expect this one to be a fun slugfest.

Simpson will be the first real test for Ronny Markes. Simpson is a great wrestler who is on a decent roll as of late, whereas Markes is looking to get that big win to move him up the MW ladder. Markes has all of the tools to defeat Simpson, it is just a matter of coming through.

The rest of the card is full of young and potentially talented fighters that you need to keep an eye on. While none of the fights seem all that interesting and one of them could be a terrific fight. Should be a solid debut for UFC on Fuel.
