This is a serious geo-political game of intimidation. And the U.S. and U.K., with the covert support of Arab nations, are looking to force an early end to the Iranian military exercises, hell bent on showing a formidable attempt at an ability to project naval power into the international shipping lanes of the Straight of Hormuz. Will Iran accept humiliation or will a tense stand-off accur? hat-ever comes out of this, you can bet it's only a first of many attempts at escalation to eventual war.
