Trivia Quiz

^______^
I currently collect and evaluate PPV data and one thing occured to me:

There are seven people who wrestled on PPV for every major North American promotion (WWF/E, NWA/WCW, TNA [monthly], ECW). Try to name them.

Four of them won at least one PPV match everywhere and two had more than one PPV match in every promotion. Also, only two of them have an overall positive PPV record and one won titles everywhere.

There's one guy who's just totally out of the field, but incidentally he's one of the two with a positive record. I'd be very surprised if somebody gets him.

Foley: missing ECW
Goldust: missing ECW
Raven: correct, won titles and PPV matches everywhere and had at least five PPV matches for every promotion
Steiner: missing ECW
Richards: missing WCW
Sandman: missing TNA
Saturn: missing TNA

You said monthlies:
Sandman/Saturn
Steiner wrestled at wrestlepalooza.

Also the American dream Dusty Rhodes is one.

Raven, Sandman, Saturn, Mike Awesome, Chris Candido and Jerry Lynn and Konan. Though I'm pretty sure there are more.

The last Sandman TNA match I can find is from February 2004 (Saturn June 2003), the first monthly PPV was in November 2004 (Victory Road). The match you have is I think from the 37th weekly PPV (March 2003).

The Wrestlepalooza Steiner wrestled at was in August 1995, iPPVs didn't air until November. The first "real" ECW PPV was Barely Legal in 1997 (also stated by Styles at ONS 2005), and that's what I and my source were going with.

Rhodes' last TNA match was at the last weekly PPV in September 2004, so that's very close, but not enough.

Raven, Sandman, Saturn, Mike Awesome, Chris Candido and Jerry Lynn and Konan. Though I'm pretty sure there are more.
Raven, Saturn and Sandman were covered, Awesome's last TNA match was in May 2003 and no WWF PPV for Lynn. Konnan was never on a WWF or ECW PPV, although I notice we have that iPPV ECW thing for Konnan. No WWF though.

Candido
: Bingo!

Also: Tony Mamaluke and Too Cold Scorpio.
Mamaluke and Scorpio are right! Mamaluke was the odd one I was thinking about, he has a 5:3 PPV record but never appeared in a dominant role.

We have:
- Raven
- Candido
- Scorpio
- Mamaluke.

We are missing:
- a five time world champion (if we use the term loosely)
- a hardcore guy
- a luchador with a terrible 3:19 PPV record

Douglas is right, Funk is missing on the TNA end. Juvi has no ECW PPV and actually a decent 13-1-15 record.

An interesting statistic I found is that for every winner in a match there are on average 1.4 losers (stemming from multi-man matches). So even a 10-13 record would actually be above average.

Psicosis is correct, but if you wanted to pay to see Dr. Death wrestle on your TV WCW (well, or the NWA) was your only chance. I'm kind of stunned myself there.

Booker? I remember him being a "five-time, five-time, five-time, five-time, five-time world champion"...

Shane Douglas was the World Champion. The missing man's record is 11-2-17, so he was (and flew) around quite a bit.

€dit: Okay, the last man was world champ too if you're generous.

There, we have it!

Raven: 22-0-37; 9 WWE, 14 WCW, 31 TNA, 5 ECW
Douglas: 20-0-16; 6, 19, 3, 8
Sabu: 11-2-17; 7, 1, 11, 11
Candido: 11-0-12; 12 , 2, 1, 8
Scorpio: 8-1-13; 12, 8, 1, 1
Psicosis: 3-0-19; 6, 13, 2, 1
Mamaluke: 5-0-3; 2, 1, 1, 4

Next time I may ask about the worst records.
