If there's one thing that is correct about this film that IGN.com stated, too much of something can be bad, and this is the problem with this film.
Overall, the action sequences are superb and the fighting is alot better in terms of filming and editing, but how did they level it out? With some of the most over the top crudest jokes ever!! Seriously, the more they came out with one thing, the more I was questioning whether kids should see this, parents certainly wouldn't like their kids speaking some of the stuff coming out of this.
The next issue I had was that there was so many Transformers, the film did not have enough places to put them, you forget where half of them are, some just seemed to be there for purpose sake. I was also shocked to realise when I was waiting in anticipation for Soundwave, he was right there in front of me all along! Where this issue comes, it feels like so much drags on, especially when the main essence of the plot comes through (which I won't spoil) because they could have lost a good 20-40 minutes to keep the plot interesting, or much to at least get nearer the end.
In short, I was quite disappointed as the first film I thought was great, but this one was too much and little to give. Prob explains Michael Bay going off leaving it like this.
Bit worth watching:
- Action/Fighting sequences
- Graphics - All 148 Trillabytes of them!
- Megan Fox
- Modern references
Not so-watchable
- Jokes, and alot of testicle ones!
- Too many Bots for purpose sake
- Plot dragging out
