This is what I think of SOPA/PIPA: █████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████. What do you guys think?

So my question is this: If we can't even convince Facebook to not change their layout once every 6 months through status updates, what makes us think the government gives a fuck about what we say on Facebook?

I'm not saying to stay in silence about SOPA or PIPA, but do something besides posting a Facebook updates with these stupid black lines. Send your local congressman or woman an email or a phone call. Don't post a status update and feel content with yourself.

And, if you're Canadian, English, Irish, Scottish, Indian (sup Rattlesnake), or from anywhere else in the world, enjoy your day and don't worry about any of this shit. At least not yet.

I don't really use Facebook all that often, so it's not going to have adverse affects on me; however, I have already emailed my congressman to express my disgust in the bill because, if passed, it will affect other parts of my internet leisure.

I emailed my congressman, and it took me all of 5 minutes. I just had to fill out a little bit of info, write a short message, and done. That's all it takes.

Yeah my site had a blackout with a simple forward e-mail to local congress rep. I'm not American but it could still affect me.
