Finally finished reading this thing. it was boring for me to read it, but looking back on it, it's really not that bad of a book. now i have to write TWO essays on it.. anyone wanna talk about the book? it'll keep me thinking about it, so thanks if you do, and oh well if you don't.

it was a VERY well written book, and there are so many messages in it. i would just lose my focus from time to time. haven't seen the movie, but my favorite part was during the trial, i was actually mad that they convicted Tom Robinson.

i didn't know they made a movie. i'm sure i'll end up seeing the movie when school starts. i just wish i didn't have to read it during summer.

Dude you should be happy that you have to read that over the summer, its a good read, you could have ended up with the twilight series or something unreadable. Nothing beats a good book.

Any book they make you read in high school will only really be good when you get older. I think they should have really violent or obscene stuff as required reading in high school (or adventure books...those are pretty badass). My picks would be:

*The Catcher in the Rye
*American Psycho
*The Count of Monte Cristo
*The Wasp Factory
*The Wind-up Bird Chronicle
*The Life of Pi
*Vernon God Little
*Never Let Me Go

All teenagers would love those books.
