TNA teasing an AJ Styles v Kurt Angle TNA Championship Match?

On the latest Impact we saw the Wolfe/Angle and Styles/Daniels programmes for Final Resolution cross paths and AJ Styles and Kurt Angle briefly tangled with each other even though they are both faces.

I read rumours that TNA do intend to have an AJ Styles v Kurt Angle feud over the TNA Championship and this would be an outstanding feud if done over the long haul much like Joe v Angle in TNA history.

On PPV Styles and Angle have faced each other 2 times in mid 2008 with AJ Styles winning both encounters in two classic wrestling matches especially the last man standing match at Hard Justice 2008.

Most recently we saw the match of the year on Impact when AJ Styles faced Kurt Angle in another great match between the two.

Talent wise these two are probably the top 2 wrestlers in TNA now with Wolfe and Daniels occupying spot three and four for now.

Anyone else pumped for this impending feud if TNA intend to go in this direction?

AJ Styles VS Kurt Angle? I'd be excited if they did that feud again. I enjoyed their feud during summer of 2008. It could be even better this time around now that Styles is TNA Champion. As you already said, they are two of the best TNA has. The two of them feuding over the TNA Championship would be a great feud because we know that they are capable of putting on really great matches and intense promos. The fans are in for something potentially memorable if TNA decides to go in that direction.

Where the hell is Joe in that list man.

As long as it isnt in the Impact zone, then i am definitly up for it. I loved their matches at Slammiversary and Hard justice. But with the ' We want to remake history with MNW 2 ' storyline involving Hogan, Dixie, i dont know how the show will be based around wrestling specialists i.e AJ and Angle.

I can't believe there's a question mark in this thread title. This is the most obvious moves TNA can make at the moment as they've been building this game-ending confrontation between AJ and Angle since No Surrender. Constant reminders that Angle thinks he should be be the champion, the time limit draw from Super Impact, the multiple "Can they co-exist?!" tag matches on Impact... I hope nobody was surprised by their brief confrontation last night.

As for what I'd think of the feud, I'm sure I won't mind it. Styles is great and Angle, despite how overrated he is, can have a decent match when duty calls. I'll go for it. I just hope they don't throw the belt back to Angle when they do it. AJ getting back to the top and feuding with Joe and Daniels has been a great move away from the status quo. Angle getting the belt again would be a step backwards, IMO.

I would love to see this feud again. The love triangle feud between AJ, Karen, and Kurt was classic. Not to mention that these two have put on some amazing matches. Now that AJ is more established as the champion, it would add extra fuel to this feud. I don't know how long AJ/Daniels will go on, but the next feud over the title should definitely be AJ/Kurt. It would be bigger draw, and a dream feud for the IWC.
