The station Esporte Interativo, currently owned by Turner Broadcasting System, announced through its official Facebook page that on Sunday (8) is the premiere broadcast of the shows of TNA Wrestling company by the channel.

There was an old rumor that, with TBS acquiring the channel, new doors to the product of the Nashville firm would be opened in Brazil.

The news is not so much a surprise due to the WWE's contract with EI be near the end, and it was likely that the channel would seek a replacement for the place.

The program points out that on Sunday at 15:45 airs an unspecified issue of pay-per-view One Night Only and evening hours, more precisely to 22hrs, TNA Impact Wrestling appears - is unknown if it will not be the show that Originally aired on Friday.

Already on Monday, from 19:45, TNA Xplosion program opens.

This is a quite huge deal, EI is a fast growing brand that was bought by Turner Network one or two months ago. They were the house of WWE until last year when they went to FOX Sport because a deal that made WWE be available on all Latin America by them.

The channel brought WWE in Brazil for the first time ever some years ago when they made a house show to 5/6k people and while WWE was on air they were one of the top shows of the channel.

With the expansion planned for the channel and while they bought the rights for UEFA Champions League the network will be even bigger.
The reception of TNA replacing WWE on their facebook channel was mixed, but a lot of people cheered about because of Jeff Hardy on the picture since he was a big star when WWE aired on SBT, the second largest channel in Brazil.

The things look very good to TNA internationally.

What possibilities does this bring? What are your thoughts?

Finally after years of being treated like that weird relative that nobody wants to talk about by SPIKE it's good to see TNA bouncing back both domestically and overseas.

This is why TNA is surviving: They are doing incredibly well internationally. And, they are doing it with a nice roster that relates to international wrestling. In THIS area, WWE is playing catch up.

Jesus H., here we go again with the International Marketing Deals!!!!!! schtick. We heard plenty of this throughout 2010-11, and it was completely forgotten about during TNA's liquidity crisis during 2013-14.

What you never, ever seem to hear about TNA's International Marketing Deals are the actual terms behind those deals, how many viewers are tuning in, or any sort of important metric to qualify the quality of those deals. Instead, you get people like Speed Racer here:

"I know they're doing great internationally, because I hear they signed a television deal in another country! The WWE doesn't hype this, so clearly they're playing catch up." In the real world, the "International Marketing Deal" became old news for the WWE over twenty years ago. They run multiple international tours each year; TNA visits the United Kingdom. (Which is the one area where it appears TNA is ahead of the WWE; TNA has very heavily courted the UK audience, and being on free-to-access TV gives them a significant advantage.)

Where we DO have solid evidence for TNA's performance internationally lies in some of their other ventures; Ring Ka King is a thing that you'll probably have to hit the Wikipedia for, since you've probably blocked it from memory. (Spoiler alert: After the first two weeks, it bombed.) TNA remains completely reliant on their domestic product to provide for these International Marketing Deals; had they not worked out their arrangement with Destination America, they would have no product with which to fulfill those International Marketing Deals.

If we're going to make a list of the TNA Trope Threads, the International Marketing Deal thread slides in somewhere in the top 5.

TNA might actually be getting themselves into a place where they can provide a sustainable product. Can we do without the mastabatory fluff posts? Can you assholes please start feeling just a little bit secure about your favorite company, please?

Just to paraphrase what Rayne said.

International TV deals are a good source of revenue, but they're not important if you're not doing well domestically. What are they going to do if somehow the Destination America deal went south, pack everything up and move to Brazil? No. They have a lot more things to worry about than international TV deals. The only way this actually effects the company is maybe it gives them enough revenue to start touring again or financially allowing them to tape TV that's not six tapings in one day. Or even convince the PPV providers to give them a slot to promote a live pay-per-view.

Nice! This is great news!

TNA has a major opportunity here...Maybe in early 2016, TNA can actually do some IMPACT episodes/PPVs in Brazil..TNA doing some shows in say, Rio, Sao Paulo, Brasilia, etc would a great way for TNA to ensure that their deal with Brazil prospers...Maybe TNA can also look into signing some South American wrestlers, as well..
