Nikita is seriously underrated, and Ivan hadn't turned to shit at that point. For all of the popularity of the Rock N Roll Express, The Koloffs would be too strong and powerful for them. It's the sort of match where they get beaten down for 10 minutes just so you think they might come back, but it's just not going to happen.
I am very split here. While everything that Jake said is true, I think also that Morton was underrated. In 1986 he was given a feud with Flair that was just great. They put on some damn classics and Morton more than held his own. However, Ivan is very often forgotten as a former WWE Champion. On that, I'll take him over Robert Gibson anyday.
