TNA Lethal Lockdown - Cage Match - Mr. Anderson vs. Kurt Angle

Yes, I know the picture depicts Anderson and Angle's Ladder match on iMPACT, but this picture could hold the 'key' to the entire match at Lockdown. See what I did there? With the whole 'key' thing? Anyway, these two guys have had some solid matches and this match at Lockdown looks like it will be the blow off of their feud. Who ya got?

I'm not sold on the idea that TNA is willing to let Anderson go over Angle this early in his TNA career, but you never know. I see it going something like this:

Anderson wins the ladder match on monday night, maybe inflicting some kayfabe injury on Angle to prevent him from competing the next week.

At Lockdown, Angle beats Anderson despite the fact that Anderson has the key, possibly using said key to cut Anderson, and so ends a very emotionally charged feud.

I do agree with those below that Angle doesn't lose and credibility as a wrestler by losing and Anderson would sky rocket to top tier talent (which he already is IMO), but I just still can't see Anderson going over Kurt here. I do enjoy being surprised though.

even though it is very early in andersons tna career, i dont think kurt needs to win. if he loses to anderson, he doesnt lose any credibility because of all he has accomplished, and simply because he is kurt angle. if anderson wins, which i think he will, he looks like a dominant force in TNA because he just beat kurt angle....just my thoughts

I believe Angle will win this match because unless TNA plans on putting Anderson over in a HUGE way as a monster heel, then he will not win this match. The feud between Angle and Anderson has been very personal, and this feud has also helped make Anderson look like one of TNA's top heels. Still, Angle will win this match because I don't think TNA will make him out to be a monster heel just yet.

Desmond Wolfe started going over Angle when he first arrived. Who is to say Anderson will not do the same thing? Kurt Angle has been on top of the TNA Mountain ever since his debut years ago. He has been in the spotlight for as long as I have known him, even when he first showed up in WWF(E). Will TNA put Ken over Kurt? I think they will here. Anderson has always had a great connection with the fans, and regardless of where they put him in the promotion, loser or winner, this match will sell tickets because it just sounds good on paper.

Who do i want to see them put over? Either one sounds good. All I know is that if Angle loses, he won't lose any credibility because of the things he has done for TNA. If Anderson loses, he could lose some rep. Anderson has everything to gain here.

I believe Mr. Anderson (cough KENNEDY) will go over the Olympic gold medalist, only to ensure they keep the fued alive for a while longer. Kurt wins, the fued is done. Anderson wins the match and they can battle it out a while later. The ladder match is just TNA "Watch Me on Monday" fodder. The key probably won't even come into play during the actual match, unless Anderson uses it to carve Kurt up, again. Either way, not a bad thing for either man to do the job. But riddle me this...does Kurt look more and more strung out each week or what? And there ya have it. It's true... DAMN TRUE.

Seems very similar to the Wolfe/Angle feud, and by that, I mean exactly the same. Angle made his opponent look like gold for a few months, but Angle was the one who eventually went over. I mean, he's Kurt fucking Angle. I'd like to see Anderson win though, if at all possible. The guy is actually quite good and could be a legit star at some point. Hopefully soon, for TNA's sake.

Their first match was slightly disappointing and I haven't seen their 2nd one, but I heard it was ok. They haven't really had a great PPV match, which Anderson really needs at this point. I doubt it'll happen though.

I expect Ken to win the match (I misvoted) Angle is taking time off after Lockdown so I expect Ken to kayfabe take out Angle and move onto maybe a feud with Pope or RVD while Angle heals up.

I'm not sure as to who will win this, my initial thought was Kurt Angle, but after reading some of the other posts like battlez' post. Im not sure if this is true but if so, I can see Anderson "Injuring" him and going on to win it, but, I have been wrong.
If he does injure him I think it will be the ribs, playing on from the ladder match. But I am hoping Anderson wins, just to put him over.

Now that I remember Angle will be taking some time off after LockDown, So I see Anderson getting the win in this match. I'm pretty sure the reason why Anderson won the match last week, Because Angle will be taking some time of other wise Angle would've won that match.

The steel cage match is going to be epic, Angle will put Anderson right in the sky and he'll make Anderson look like gold. And I'm sure that Anderson will try to do the same for Angle. Like I said this match is going to be epic.

The sad thing is that I will be moving so I wont have a chance to watch Lockdown at all. Hey but I will wait until the result come on.

Just as I had thought long ago. This long intense rivalry has lasted until Lockdown. Now it's time for Angle as the face to get the big win and end this feud. Anderson has been made to look like a great heel during this feud with Angle. People are saying Anderson will win so that Angle can take time off after the PPV, but I see it a different way. Angle needs to win here because of how he has been portrayed in the feud.... Quite a departure from his Main Event Mafia role a year ago, but I disgress. I think that Anderson will still come off looking strong in the match and will do some type of kayfabe'd injury to Angle after Angle has already won the match, that way Angle wins and can take time off while Anderson still gets the needed heel heat. This should be a great match and I'm really looking forward to it.

Immensely overrated, cheap heat feud, but has had its moments for sure. Anderson is at an all time high, really, and is reminding me at least, why he was so highly thought of for a while in WWE. The way this feud has been done though, there is virtually no way Anderson can win. Well, to the contrary, this is Russo and Bischoff booking, so who the fuck knows. Should be a good one though

This has been the one reason to watch Impact for me. And not because each segment has been perfectly timed and conceived, but simply off of the back of one backstage promo between Angle, Hemme, and Anderson months ago. The program has had it's highs and lows, but the two men involved are doing stellar, especially Anderson as one of the greater success stories of the Hogan era signings. With Angle due out afterwards, and with no sign of slowing an Anderson push after this blow off, it's hard for to me to mark this as any other way but an Anderson victory.

This feud has been quite entertaining and is one of the only matches on the card which seem fitting to end in the cage. Angle has been good as aways and Anderson has made me a fan of his. Both men have worked hard and put on entertaining promo's and matches so if this is anything like that then we should be good. I really enjoyed their ladder match and this should hopefully get more time and should be better.

I predict Anderson to win as I have heard rumours that Angle will be taking time off after this and a perfect way to do that is for Anderson to beat him up so much that he has to take time off and recopirate. This should hopefully be a very good match with Anderson coming out as the victor.

I predict Anderson to win, Angle hasn't lost on pay per view for quite some time and the last one he lost too was Styles so it's not like he lost too some one shit.
