I've got more Ho's than Jim Duggan
It's that time of year again... with Final Resolution in the books it is time to look back on 2012 and determine which was the year's best match.
I'm gonna go with the main event from Destination-X. This was an excellently worked match that culminated with what I feel was TNA's best moment of the year, Austin Aries becoming World Champion after relinquishing his X-division title to earn the chance. It also put a nice bow on the "option-c" scenario that Aries pitched to Hogan, which should help to insure an increase in the X-division title's relevance for atleast a portion of each year. I rate this match at 4.5 stars.
My closest honorable mentions would be the Tag Title match from Slammiversary, and the AJ/Angle match from Sacrifice. I saw both of these matches as 4.25 star affairs.
