Time to shine, baybay!!!!!

Magic Mark

Former WCW TV Champion
After hearing about the cuttings of all the WWE Superstars today, I was most saddened by the release of Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal. Which is surprising because I showed no remorse when CM Punk left, same thing goes for when Kassius Ohno got released. So with 3MB no longer a thing, let's focus about the "sole survivor" of the group so to speak: Heath Slater.

Now Heath may seem like a jobber to most people, but honestly, I think it's time for him to step into the spotlight a little now that he's on his own. I'm not saying he should win MiTB and become the new WWE Champion, but I think he could be a credible mid-carder. If I was in control of the WWE (hopefully that never happens), I would give Slater a push similar to that of Chris Jericho's role in WCW when he was the "conspiracy victim". That was honestly when Jericho was the most entertaining. The sign-tearing, the Greenberg angle, the JPS, that was some really fun-to-watch stuff. And when I see Slater, the guy has a lot of charisma, and I think he could recreate the persona perfectly.

But thats my opinion, and I'd like to see what you guys think as well!!!

Also, JTG is still hired? Man, the guy dodges more bullets than a Jedi being attacked by a bunch of Storm Troopers.

I have always said I'd love 3MB to be done with but this isn't the way I was thinking. Very surprised about Drew, not so much about Jinder. You're right though. Heath does indeed have charisma which is probably why he hasn't been released so far. He could be a credible mid-carder if put into good storys and feuds. I hope the best for him at least.

Also, Storm Troopers don't shoot bullets...they shoot lasers...lol

Since the Nexus, Heath Slater always stood out as a SuperStar...someone you could recognise...so there is no surprise he has been kept.

Also, even during the Shield's decimations of 3MB, Heath has always been the guy with the spotlight on him from the group...but he seems somewhat like the Miz in terms of presence.

I can see him as a credible midcard Heel character going forward...perhaps he is repackaged again, or simply goes back to his One Man Band stuff he was doing before.

Nah they're gonna use the Clem Layfied gimmick that he does on the JBL and Cole show... basically rehash Eugene and Bischoff just as they used BNB from that show as well.

Is it a bad idea? no, Slater isn't gonna be a serious contender, a comedy role suits his talents and if it gets JBL OUT of commentary and let's Regal in I am all for it.
