Time To See Alex Riley?

#heel

Dark Match Jobber
Well now Riley Is here in the blue brand, and has been so neglected, I feel that it is his time to step up to smackdown.

Firstly he is over with the crowd and has the potential to be a good face. If you don't agree that he is over, he gets good pops even on superstars.

IMO he should Definatly be given a strong push. So...

• How can Riley be used on SD?

• Who would he fued with?

• Can you see him in the main event by the end of 2012?

Alex Riley is so underused. He is quite over and gets huge pops, normally on Superstars they have to use fake crowd reactions but he gets the real thing as you can actually see the crowd actually standing and cheering the guy. I would like to see him booked on Smackdown in matches against some of the Mid Card or Lower Card heels (like maybe Jinder Mahal and Hunico) before having him fued with Cody Rhodes and possibly even having him be the guy to take the IC Title from Rhodes when the WWE decides to put Rhodes in the Main Event picture. I don't see Riley main-eventing anytime soon but I do beleive he could be Smackdown's Main Mid-Card Face in 2012 if he is booked correctly.

I don't like his hair, when the gels runs from him getting sweaty it makes him look like he has a pompadour. Thats irrelevant though.

He was talented and over enough to win the FCW HW title and he gets a solid pop when he fights now. I know he suffered that hip injury a couple months ago and I understand a slow build to make sure its fine but get him some TV time already. Dude is still relatively young, good look, solid in ring, let him go on like a month or two win streak over jobbers and low midcarders, give him a shot at the IC title. He doesn't have to win but give him a push.

This is kinda what he's been doing now on Superstars. He's well protected compared to guys like Gabriel, Santino, and even Ted DiBiase and possibly Zack Ryder (in spite of his increased TV time and U.S. Title). The guy barely loses, only losing twice, once to McGillicutty (who Riley beat twice afterwards) and once to Swagger (who I think can be built as Riley's arch nemesis).
