That town in Texas only has like 1200 people, do you really need a police force for 1200 residents? Especially when you have one town 5 mins. away in one direction, & another less than 10 mins. away in the other direction. I assume that one or both of those other towns will be sharing the responsibility of policing that tiny ass town, I lived in a area of Wisconsin for years that has been doing the same thing for decades, shared a police force between 3-4 small towns, it works out just find.
