It used to be that when the audience used the this is awesome chant, it was actually for either a really good segment or for a great classic match. I remember the first time I heard that chant used on WWE programming; it was for the Undertaker/HBK match at WM 25. That match was definitely a fitting occasion to use the chant. After that, for a long time, whenever the live audience would use that chant, it was warranted. Now, however, I feel as though the live audience uses it whenever they get anything thats even somewhat entertaining. Lately, the chant hasnt been used for anything near worthy of being called great.
What does that say about the current WWE product? Is it that the live audience is using the chant more and more because its become a popular chant or is it that the live audience is using the chant more often because the WWE product is becoming less and less entertaining? Let me know your opinions.
