John Morrison is the modern day, Wrestling Rock star. His ring attire, his long black hair, his bedazzled Sunglasses, his amazing, almost supernatural athleticism, and cat like reflexes made him a star in the eyes of his fans and viewers.

John Morrison is a four time Tag Team Champion. Three with Joey Mercury, and one with WWE Superstar, The Miz. After finishing his career as a Tag Team Specialist, he went onto a singles career where he quickly found success and became the WWEECW Heavyweight Champion.

Yup, this counts...Sorta?​

After Morrison finished his career in ECW. He quickly put himself into the spotlight on Friday Night Smackdown. He won the Intercontinental Champion three different times. During which, he was successful over the likes of Dolph Ziggler, Chris Jericho, and Rey Mysterio.

You can say what you want about his backstage antics and his rocky relationship with Melina. But John Morrison was easily a staple in the WWE and the guy one good step away from the Main-Event.

He's going to have to have one hell of a year for next year to be any different. Morrison wasn't even listed among those who got votes but missed the cut. That means not a single member of the panel voted him in their top 128. Considering his current state of (un)employment I don't think Morrison's chances are very good next year either.
