the wwe 'diva' division

Am I the only one who would be happier if the divas division consisted of nothing but a kharma, beth phoenix, natalya feud? They are the only one's I would consider women wrestlers in the wwe, everyone else are just....i don't know, but they shouldn't be in the ring

They may be getting better, but still not at that point yet, I mean where are this generations moolah? sherry martel? lita? trish? I recognize the improvement with some of the women (kelly kelly, eve etc) but to me they still just come off as models who are playing wrestlers. I'll take a Knockout over a Diva anyday

I'm afraid your vision of the Divas and the WWE's one do not coincide. It would be nice to have the chance to take the Divas more seriously, and if it was centered around all the good female wrestlers, the bottom tier girls would have to raise their game and so on. But you can get as high wrestling like Alicia Fox as you can Natalya in the current clmate, and WWE would rather present an image of an attractive non-butch lady as opposed to one that looks like Beth Phoenix to the outside world. Make no mistake, Kelly Kelly is still the poster girl of the Divas despite no being featured prominently with them for a while and that's the way it looks set to remain for a while... unless Kharma makes big enough tremors........... which she probably wouldn't have any issue with.

True, my vision is vastly different then the one wwe has. Just wanted to see if anyone shared those views. And to vent frustration lol

The only way this could be possible is to bring back the Women’s Title and treat the Divas Title more like the Intercontinental / United States Title. What I mean by this is, give the Women (Kharma, Beth Phoenix, and Natalya) the more “serious” Championship to contend for, and give the Divas (everyone else who is prettier than they are skilled) the “Eye Candy” Championship. It’s similar to how I set up my WWE Universe in WWE 12.

As you can see, the ones that can are “Women Wrestlers”, and the ones that can’t are “Diva-licious”. (I think I’ve been using that word too much lately.)

Nah, I realize this is nothing new, but at least at one point and time the amount of women competitors who actually felt like they belonged in the ring outweighed those who are more fitted to the grotto. It's just one more way of me trying to get back the glory days, which unfortunately, are long gone
