The Undertaker is one of my favourite wrestlers, and is an all-time great of wrestling history.

when i was watchin SD last night i had a vision......... Basically i think lashley will lose to booker at no way out and and taker will beat kennedy leaving booker the champion and taker the no. 1 contender for survivor series.

however, there is a problem with this theory as wont the winner of the batista/finlay fight be the no.1 contender?????

hmm well all i can think is that the batista/finlay feud wont end at no way out. i think this feud could potentially be stretched out for what its worth leaving a possibility for taker v booker.

so if taker wins the gold from booker at SS, he could hold the gold all the way to wrestlemania 23 and defend it against batista maybe. taker has to lose at wrestlemania sooner or later so i think this may be his final one where he ends his legacy.

I like the sound of that idea. Also, if that were to happen, I'd love his WM23 opponent to be Kane. Kane wins, finally beating his brother, and getting another title reign in the process. Undertaker gets to go out to the one guy that he has had the best fueds with over his career, and the one true challenge to his legacy, his own brother. Make it some sort of gimmick match too.

Woah, calm down. I think you're overreacting - yeah this place is full of crap like what you quoted but you shouldn't let get to you so easily. Anyway, I can see lots of Undertaker discussion in this thread, people talking about his future opponents and stuff -- if you want to talk about why you think he is such a great wrestler and why we all love him, then why not post something like "I like Undertaker because...", instead of bashing the whole thread just cos it the discussion in it isn't about what you'd like it to be. If you don't like it, change it or move on.

You say the purpose of this forum is to instigate dicussion, so why don't you do that instead of getting yourself all worked up about the big issue that everyone knows about anyway. As far as I can see, this thread is one of the few on WZ at the moment that actually has some pretty good discussions on. I see your point, and I agree that the comment you quoted did not instigate discussion but geez, it's not the worst case of spamming I've ever seen; at least it was on topic!

Anyway I'd like to raise a discussion -- how do you see his fued with MIIISTEEEEEEEEER KENNEDDDYYY... KENNEDY going down? Who do you think will win, will it be a short lived thing, etc... post your thoughts.

Personally, I think that Kenneddy will defeat the Phenom by DQ or something, thus continuing the fued for a few weeks/months longer. I think it could be a great rivalry, and they could have some fantastic matches and promos if given the time and effort from the creative team on Smackdown. I believe this could be the answer to SD's ratings woes, and I'd like to see it snowball into Survivor Series, perhaps with Kenneddy winning in the end, to give him a huge push into the title picture

As the thread starter stated that the Undertaker was the "best", I gave my opinion on the Undertaker.

I respect him for his gimmick, which has an amazing aura. The great feuds, the great matches that he has had throughout his career. Great matches would the ones with Bret Hart at One Night Only 1997, Shawn Michaels at Badd Blood 1997, his numerous matches with Mankind and Kurt Angle etc.

Great feuds as well, from the likes of Hulk Hogan and Kamala earlier in his career, up to feuds with Diesel, Mankind, Shawn Michaels, Kurt Angle, Triple H, SCSA etc.

His faithfulness to WWE doesn't change whether he's a good wrestler or not. Apart from that, all the other things you mention here are reasons I like the Undertaker so much.

I hope you not implying that I belong to this "noob group". My history knowledge of the WWF up until 2002 can stand up to most peoples'. And even if I'm not as devout of a fan as I once was, I'll always be a fan.

I think that's what every Undertaker fan wants --- but I just can't see him getting another title reign, as much as I'd love it. This is because he only works part time, and has never expressed a huge desire to win it back; he says that he considers his Wrestlemania streak his greatest career accomplishment, not how many championships he's won.

I like that idea & actually think that Batista said Undertaker was one of the wrestlers he would like to work with, or it coulda been Undertaker that said he wanted to work with Batista before he left. either way one of them said it, don't know if it would be for the title but i could see them wrestle in a #1 contender match.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Batista-Taker fued, but I can only see it as a way to push 'tista back into the title picture. No gain for Taker fans.

Out of those people you listed, I hope that Hogan retires, and Khali goes back to his day job. As for the Undertaker and Kane, I don't expect to see either of them for much longer after WM23. Having said that, it means that this year will likely be Undertaker's (possibly Kane's) last Survivor Series. Seeing as Undertaker debuted at Survivor Series 1990, I feel there could be something huge in line for Taker this year, seeing as it's such a big event for him.

Oh, and I think Flair will be staying around for a while longer -- he'll never retire!
