James Storm, Manik, Great Sanada, and more potential members on the way. James Storm has become a sort of manager for talents. More accurately, he's basically become TNA's big bad outside of Lashley. Not to mention, also creating a faction that isn't trying to take over TNA like the previous 50 others have.

He's the center of probably the most interesting aspect of TNA right now as he goes around attempting to recruit people for some untold purpose. What's that purpose? Probably revenge on Bobby Roode. The now TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Storm's attitude and odd collecting of subordinates reminds me a lot of Randy Orton when he formed The Legacy not to mention that while he's turned sour over constant fumbles to regain main event status, Roode has gone from perennial asshole to TNA's pride and joy. What comes for either one once 2015 is riddled in the mysteries of TNA's TV deal, but nonetheless there's a base for a major rekindling of one of TNA's most well known feuds with a new twist. It may also make Manik and Sanada into a tag team and new tag teams are never a bad thing.

Ya know, I don't agree with you that James Storm's stable is like Orton's Legacy stable..To me, I see it more like James Storm has turned into TNA's Bray Wyatt with Storm's "minions" being the equivalent of the Wyatt Family..Storm also cuts eerie, cultish style promos, sometimes in Wyatt-esque backwoods settings, though obviously his promos are not as non-sensical as Wyatt's but they're still depraved nonetheless.

I'd like to see how 2015 pans out for Storm's Family..

It reminds me more of Raven's TNA-version of The Flock — Serotonin. Whom I actually enjoyed quite a bit, contrary to their popularity among most TNA watchers at the time.

There's a bit of a plot hole behind the idea that this all is designed for revenge against Roode, the now champion, if the guiding principle is the championship, but that can be erased with ease if it's simply likened to a historical discord between the two men — the former now being champion coincidentally. To Storm, that'd be something of a consolation prize, or an aspect of a potential feud that he could use to exploit more pain out of Roode over by taking the thing he worked so hard to get back in the first place.

I'm really intrigued to see what they do here with Storm's group. Manik and Sanada are looking to be the next challengers to the tag titles once The Wolves beat the winners of the tag tournament, or so it looks to be that way at least. As stated before it looks like Storm will use this group to "get back" at Roode, and push Storm back into World Title contention, where in my opinion he should have never left in the first place.

As far as the Bray Wyatt comparisons, I think since it's the more recent "creepy group" it's the easiest to compare it to, but also as stated as before, Storm reminds me so much more of a Raven's Flock or Serotonin vibe.

I love it. TNA's storyline with James Storm is currently my favorite thing going on in the company from a creative standpoint. What I really like the most is that they are giving the tag team division and finally (though it seems to a somewhat lesser extent now that the Wolves are involved) the X Division a compelling storyline. I will say that prior to this storyline, I didn't care much for Sanada and even less for Manik. A part of me wonders if Storm will recruit other X Division wrestlers to his revolution. I would love that considering the X Division hasn't had any sort of compelling feud or storyline in years. It would be a breath of fresh air from the random matches (though admittedly good) that have no background or storyline.

If TNA wants to get people emotionally invested into the X Division again then this is a great first step.

Yea I see your point with the Raven comparisons, but in my opinion, Raven was a much better character than Storm ever was, which was why I didn't bring Raven up as a comparison with Storm's character. I remember Johnny Polo in the WWF, Raven's Flock in WCW, Raven in ECW, but Raven's TNA run was something I only saw a little bit of..Raven was a truly demented character, I think he would've "traumatized" Sanada and Manik way worse than Storm has done..Raven took things to different levels, such as Raven vs DDP in WCW when Raven "hung" DDP with a noose at one point during their feud, Raven "crucified" the Sandman in ECW, hence like I said, Raven and Storm to me can't really be compared..

While Storm and Bray Wyatt, like I said remind me of each other because of their backwoods, cultish-style promos and also the psychology they employ. They also have similar tactics in that they "remake" those who become linked with them..Wyatt and Storm "break" their "disciple" and then "remake" them into their image. So far, it's worked for both of them, so I'm interested in what 2015 holds for both Storm and Wyatt.
