I agree that the Texans have the best team. But how many times have we said that or something very similar and they've failed to deliver? I'm just a little cautious to crown them right now, especially with Arian Foster's hamstring right now.

Hey, I think they are better off than another team that constantly fails despite such hype about potential. Yah, I am talking about Florida teams.

I would also argue that Brady is more popular than Manning. My argument, however stupid, is based on his looks and the fact that women love him. I mean, which would women want to watch more, this:

I wouldn't count out the Colts yet either. They still have Wayne/Garcon/Collie/Clark, a run game that is really decent, and an above average offensive line. Kerry Collins is bad, but this is still a team that could put up 9 wins, which might be all it takes to win the AFC South.

Which Florida teams are you talking about? The only Florida teams I even have the slightest interest in are the Jags and Magic, even if I do somewhat keep up with the Bucs and Dolphins because I try to watch as much football as possible.

Garcon and Collie are mostly products of Manning and the Colts running game was 29th in the league last season. The offensive line is also pretty average. Even if Manning only misses half the season I can't see them winning more then 8 games.

Hey, I found someone in Jacksonville who roots for the Jags! (I kid :p)

Yeah, I am talking about the Jags and Dolphins. Granted, I haven't really kept up with all the roster moving after the lockout ended.. But I do know that the Jags are viewed as one of those teams that are always a big win away from being 'elite' despite the fact that manage to fuck up something or another.

And don't get me started on the Dolphins (my team). How in the fuck do you not win one game at home and you don't play in Detroit? Fuck, they went 7-1 on the road during the same season. :glare:

Decent running game? They were 29th last season in rush yards per game and were 25th in yards per attempt. They have a horrible running game, which more than likely means their offensive line is well below average. Peyton Manning is the Colts. They were nothing for years before him, and they will be nothing without him.

The Jags used to be that team, but they have been rebuilding for a few years now. Their decent records over the past two season had more to do with a weak schedule than good talent.

You're a Dolphins fan? I still feel sorry about that 62-7 my Jags put on the Dolphins in the playoffs in 1999.

Yeah, but Addai and Donald Brown were both hurt. I had no idea the o-line lost as many big names as they did.

Neither is really that good to begin with. They aren't completely horrible but they are just going to get worse without Manning there to open up running lanes with his passing.

So, I finally took a look at the Phins roster.

- Looks like another good year for defense. Not great, but there are at times I think the Phins' defense gets completely overlooked (specifically Vonte Davis, Sean Smith, and Yeremiah Bell). But what can you do?

- A rookie center should be interesting.

- And we got rid of Ronnie and Ricky for Reggie Bush? Well, the Ravens and Eagles made out like bandits in comparison.

- Finally, I know Marshall is the big name on the team, but Bess has been the best receiver for Phins since 2009. I don't know why they are trying to force chemistry between Henne and Marshall. Well, the money, but Marshall should stop making people want to kill him off field before they label him the best player on the team.

(:glare: at Ye Beard Carrier)

If you don't want Marshall, I'll gladly take him on the Jags. He'd be a massive improvement over any receiver we have on the roster.

Bess has been more productive.

Last years stats

Marshall- 86 catches, 1,014 yards and 3 tds

Bess- 79 catches, 820 yards, 5 tds.

The only category Bess has is touchdowns and he played in two more games the Marshall. Bess is a solid receiver but Marshall is easily better and more productive.

Fun fact. The last quarterback to start for the Colts not named Peyton Manning is current 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh.

Another fun fact, the last QB to start on a team that Manning was on (with Manning healthy) was Todd Helton in Knoxville Manning's freshman season at UT.

2 TDs is nothing to be claiming he's been more productive though.

The Colts might as well put Peyton on IR if the reports about him being out 2-3 months are true. Accept this season is going to be bad, and start scouting QB's to replace Manning when he retires. They'll have an early pick at least.

Jags avoid the blackout this week, so they still haven't had one since 2009. Meanwhile, the Bucs are blacked out yet again, so where is the talk of them moving to LA?
