I was a young Child visiting my grandparents when they were living on Long Island and someone had a Beatles CD. When I go to sleep I listen to music because it helps me sleep. I don't know why I picked a beatles CD being 5 or so but I did and when this song came on I was hooked and I love The Beatles to this day.

This was the frist Beatles song I ever heard. I was in Primary School at about age 9 or 10, and our Headmistress was a music obsessive, and always tried to get the classes to put on music shows for the parents.

We actually made a cassette tape which was sold after a performance (which EVERYONE had to be involved in- the shit people were only allowed to mime or pretend to play the Recorder lol), and one of the songs we sang on the tape was "Yesterday".

I did not know it was The Beatles until years later I saw a clip of McCartney singing it and recognised it as one of the songs from that performance in school, which was pretty surprising. I still like the song today and have it on my IPod.

Wow, umm..........I have no idea. The first Beatles albums I bought was #1's and I bought it without ever hearing a Beatles song so it was definitely off that album. Judging from the track listing it was probably "Paperback Writer". Their early stuff was great but nothing compared to their mid-60's material imo. "Paperback Writer" is the first song off the album that comes from that time period. With it's stop-go format and unusual subject material I was hooked. Later on as I started to acquire more Beatles albums I was enthralled with The Abbey Road Medley and "I Am the Walrus" but I'd say "Paperback Writer" started it all.

Definetly HELP!
I was obsessed with this song growing up, I loved all of their stuff but for some reason this one stuck out to me. I just love the energy and how fun it is to sing along to in the car.

The song that got me into the Beatles was I Want to Hold Your Hand. Funny story. It started due to my class doing a cover of it for an assembly at school back in 2nd grade and when I got home and told my parents about it they revealed what big fans they used to be of the Beatles and showed me many of their songs, and I still like the band now. They changed music forever for the better and deserve all of the hype they have gotten over the years.

This was the first Beatles song I ever heard, and then I was hooked. I grew up listening to mostly older music that my parents would play, and the Beatles just happened to be part of that, along with the likes of Queen and Elvis. I didn't enjoy all of it. In fact, I probably disliked more of my parents' music that I liked, but I thought this song was fun as hell, and I'm still a huge fan of the Beatles today. This probably isn't my favourite Beatles song. Let It Be or Eight Days A Week would take that honour, but Can't Buy Me Love is definitely the song that got me into them in the first place.
