The reason for WWE's PG rated era.

SHINING WIZARD!!
You're going to hear it here first. OK, maybe not, but I saw it for the first time last night and I was just dumbfounded. Everyone of course knows that WWE has toned down it's product, there is less cursing, the women are slowly being phased out, there will be no more Playboy spreads, there is less blood on TV matches and overall there is beginning to be more kid-friendly content.

But no one truly new the reason as to why this transformation came about. But I have fearlessly investigated this phenomenon and I have come across the truth. The catalyst of the evolution of WWE is as follows:

That's right. Damien Demento, the man, they myth, SINGLE-HANDEDLY changed the direction of the world's most dominant wrestling company via the medium of his telephone calls, emails and word of mouth message that blading is self mutilation and that women are being exploited in the wrestling world.

The change had nothing to do with the deaths of prominent champions, one of them being the death of Eddie Guerrero which prompted the WWE to institute a comprehensive Wellness program and the the other being the murder/suicide of Chris Benoit which brought out another steroid witch hunt and placed a black mark on the business that will not wash away in a short amount of time.

It also had nothing to do with McMahon wanting to transform his company into a widely appealing entertainment mogul that has an act that entertains people of all ages. Nope, Damien Demento is the man that we should thank as he has taken full credit for the direction of sports entertainment in America.

In my opinion, this is the epitome of self possessed mania. This man has gone on record as saying that all of his online "shoots" were nothing more then a way to garner attention in the attempts of revitalizing his wrestling "career" in an attempt to prove a point that has already been recognized. Let it rest, Phil, stop embarrassing yourself!
