Now before i start I just want ot say i had no idea where to put this hence the reason i am putting it here. If a mod wants to move it please feel free.

Alot of people are asking what is wrong with the WWE. the answer my friends is

Michaels should not be in an IC Title fued. He's better than that.

The IC title has no meaning at all. Years ago there was interesting fueds and the title was White hot. it was the stepping stone to greatness. everybody who mattered held that title over the years. but now we are getting great people holding the belts but are doing nothing else. Instead all we are getting is pointless match after pointless match. and rarely a hint at a fued that dissapears. we really need a fued to elevate this poor forgotten title again.

That's precisely why I feel HBK would be great for the IC title...It gives him a belt, without giving him THE belt, and it makes the IC belt relevant again. The last few IC champs have been people that some people are for, but most are unsure about (Kofi, Regal, Santino), and if HBK had the belt, we'd automatically watch any match the belt was involved in.

He could feud with a heel CM Punk, John Morrison, Ken Kennedy, and many others, who have a growing fan base, and could keep working the title back to respectability...

Yeah i wouldn't mind one of the big stars holding the belt. like orton/edge for heels and hbk for faces. it defently would have credibility than havign santino holding it

You can have anyone hold it. The key thing is to get people fighting over it. Right now, Regal is the IC champion and won it 6 weeks ago. He's had zero televisied defenses, or even matches since. Why should I care about him or his reign?

That's true. If he has no defenses, it makes it seem like nobody wants to challenge him for it.

Punk will probably end up with the belt, but everyone will just be waiting for him to lose it, because of how quickly they took the WHC off him.

He could have some very good feuds, especially if they turn him heel. Kofi and him coud have a few good matches, and he could probably have a few one-offs with guys like Noble and Santino.

I think the WWE needs to do the same thing with this belt, that they need to do with the tag belts. Give it to a big name, get it's notoriety back, and give it quality time on maor PPVs.



On a different note: This would be much better served outside of the LD/Spam Zone...This thread deserves discussion, not: "HBK sucks" or "The IC belt can't be saved"

He i was just oging to add on to my other post that when you don't defend the title/s they become less credible. just like when rhodes and holyl were holding the tag titles. that was probably the lowest point when they had them. and now they are getting more and more credible.

Jesus christ. It doesn't fuckin' matter who holds the title. If no one ever defends the title and then loses it the very first time they defend it, EVERY TIME, then the credibility will remain at an all time low. So far, Santino has been the most credible champion of the last 16 months!

More credible than jeff hardy and umaga. umaga had a couple of defences while jeff mainly vsed umaga for the title. he also had i title defence against randy orton but you cant really count that.
