The Pointless Thread

I would like to point out I just won my Fantasy Football league - Championship. From not making the playoffs last year, to steamrolling 104-40 to the Championship this year. (the guy still has the Minnesota Defense playing for him, but it'll only drop if it does anything, from the way MN. is playing)

And even if they did get a couple INTs, there is no way in hell a Defense can bring a fantasy team back 64 pts. Therefore.. YAY! ~I am a Champion, nobody cares, but I am a Champion!!~

me too unless, the guy gets a nice little game from Jay Cutler, say 53 points. If not i win :headbanger:

If I could give a game ball out, it'd go to Steve Smith. Peyton Manning gave me 30 pts.. but on a regular basis, he's suppose to post that type of outcome. Steve Smith, on the other hand.. was a last minute switch-up, & he rewarded me with 19 pts.. to Calvin Johnson's 4 pt Bench session. (I am SO glad I made that switch)

Also, Kolby Smith posted moderate numbers, compared to Willis McGahee who was benched also as a last minute decision.. & thankfully, I didn't suffer the outcome of the McGahee injury.

I think i have used the same players all year, except for bye weeks and the acquisition of Larry Fitzgerald.

I can win 4-7 leagues, I just need like 12 points from gates, and a nice little show by their kicker and defense.
 
if anyone is going to defeat the Pats it is gonna be A) Indi. B) Jacksonville...

Jacksonville could do it if Garrard plays mistake free.

Actually, in my opinion, they've screwed themselves if they end up playing in another shitty weather game.. so I'd take Jacksonville, or Indy over New England in either of those games. Especially if Indy is at full strength with Marvin Harrison, who hasn't played in what now, going on 10 games?

No, no.. I put they, but I meant "New England." Green Bay, in my opinion, intentionally dropped to the Bears.. so they might not have to play in Green Bay in Jan. I don't care what anyone says, not even their own players wanna play in shit ass weather.

that would be dumb because Dallas has sucked it GB.. I think they are 0-5 or something like that in the playoffs in GB... I could be wrong though

You're wrongfully assuming Dallas is even going to be capable of doing anything in the playoffs, with or without T.O. -- Dallas can get spanked if they simply double T.O-verrated, then cover Witten & make sure Barber doesn't get outside.

EDIT: For the record, I'm not saying Dallas sucks, because they're what 13-2? Yeah, they definately don't suck.. but Owens is their main target & look at the Carolina game.. when he wasn't there, they suddenly had a hard time doing anything.

This is true, and GB has always played like shit in Dallas, but then who's to say Dallas will even win a playoff game, you got TO doing his stupid shit stirring again, and now has an "high ankle sprain", gotta say it's funny how this guy always seems to get some sort of injury whenever he makes some stupid comment in the press, and starts bringing in negative attention to himself, then they got there problems with Roy Williams and his inability to tackle without getting suspended/fined/penalized for the horse collar tackles, and you got Romo, who hasn't really proven himself in the big playoff situation, so who knows what will happen with Dallas in the playoffs this year

yeah but remember when t.o wasn't suppose to play the SB, when he had his broken leg or something? I wouldn't doubt T.O because he carried the Eagles in that SB.

But now lemme go onto the Dallas side of the tracks..

When favre played Dallas earlier, Favre played like crap, Dallas should no whats coming now if they(GB) stick to their game plan when Rodgers was in the game.

I am not saying either team will make into the championship game, but in all honesty, what other teams could defeat them in the NFC? I could say Tampa could give Dallas a hard time, but Tampa wouldn't be able to put enough Pts on the board, and i believe GB"s biggest worry would have been Minnesota but it doesn't look like they are going anywhere.

I dont think he is overrated, he has underrated speed. His hands are sub par and so forth.

Those games like that happen though. good teams have bad games, look at past sb champs, the Steelers had some bad games, when the Pats won they had a couple bad games, not horrible games, but they got that out of their system before the playoffs. Shit, I know the Colts lost last year, and didn't they get killed by the Pats in the regular season?

I hate the hidden part of my life, that makes me so happy. And I really don't want it hidden anymore. I hate the arguments I get in, & the fights that make me want to be anywhere but here. The one fucking place I wish I was, more than anything.. is somewhere that who knows if I'd ever be.. all I know, is thats my happiness at this moment. Everything else (excluding my daughter, who is once again crying due to being sick) just makes me hate being here.
 
In light of the past few posts, I'd like to post a random ass comment. Merry Christmas. I'm asuming since this IS the pointless thread, it don't count as spam, but I do have another question anyways. Has Brian ever gone more than 5 posts without talking about football by any chance? I've never seen it, no matter the thread.
