But saying Rice will always be better period when Moss hasn't played long enough to even come close is unfair, and at this point in Moss's life he is one of the top 10 WR's of all time. He should get respect for what he has done.

I believe that was 1985, and Jerry Rice was drafted in 1985.. that is impossible.

Randy Moss lives off of speed, when he gets older he will die down... Rice was never that quick, he earned a pro bowl in his forties. Rice was an exceptional route runner, something that Moss is not.

Moss has speed and an excellent vertical leap, and he is a great route runner as well. Don't see why you would say otherwise.

He is a terrible route runner, Rice could do it all, Moss' leap has to do with his speed, and height. He is a bad route runner, he knows nothing more than deep passes or quick slant routes that revolve around speed.

You never see Moss bullying up and running across the middle.

I found that out. So much for anybody who bashes Montana! I have heard people say he was only good because he had Rice. Yeah right! Montana was the best clutch QB ever. 0 INT's in 4 SB's! MVP in 3.

No he can't. Moss knows nothing outside of quick Slants, or streaks... Moss hardly blocks. Moss can not bring out the best in a QB. His attitude holds him down, when he doesn't get the ball enough he throws fits, same goes for t.O.

I agree some will, the yeards receiving will go untouched for a long time, the TD one on the other hand will go down. Easiest one to get. Don't mistake my defense of Moss for Rice hatred, he was great.

Moss has 124 receiving td's... Rice has 197...He is 73 away... He either needs to average a little over 10 td's for 7 season. or like 10 years of like 7 receiving touchdowns.. Which could be done.... But I think age will catch up to Moss. At least IMO

It might never know. he has 23 this year, he could do it again. Only time will tell. With that team and Brady at QB he might get 20 three years running..Might.

he has a one year deal... their defense gets one year older... It will only be so long before they start stinking because of their age on defense.

meh the Steelers have a lot of needs, Offensive lineman, linebackers, Cornerback, Defensive End... tall Receiver...

See Vrabel is getting up their, So is Harrison, Bruschi, and Seau, they have all been in the league for quite sometime, so that is basically 4 leaders on defense who can be gone because of retiring, and they are on the downfall of their respective careers, so they need 3 linebackers to fill(possibly) plus they might lose Moss to FA.

I believe he had a one yr deal with an option for two, but with his accomplishments this year, he will get loads, and the Pats cant afford all that.

I know the Steelers need work... Alan Faneca lost to FA. They already had voids on their o- line. They need a tackle and a center, Sean MaHandled sucks... Deshea Townsend is getting old, they still need a back up running back, they have voids on their D-Line, and they need a solid back up QB.

Well they did draft Woodley and Timmons who were injured for this year, so i guess LB and DE are good for now.

Thats good, teams like the patriots don't get cheap and only get good for a short period, just means the steelers like building via the draft and young talent. Works great if they are good judges of it, and this year they are though team to beat. Sleeper to take anyone out.
