Jericho looks far better with long pants seeing him in the trunks is just plain scary, Kendrick can sort of pull them off but he is much better also with the longer pants

Having watched Chris Jericho the last ten years, I was shocked to see the former Y2J wearing trunks Monday night. I wasn't completely opposed to the look. In fact I was more opposed when Triple H made the transition into trunks (It took me about a year to accept that this was now Triple H; The trunk wearing heel). The change in attire seems point out that this is/will be a different Jericho. That his persona will never.. EEEE-E-E-Ev.. screw it.. will be different from this point onward.
It also provoked a reflection as to what I would wrestle in if I were a performer. Some of the most successful in trunks over the past few decades include Austin, Flair, The Rock, Orton, and Batista. Successful pant wearing superstars include HBK, Edge, Sting and Foley. Hogan transitioned from trunks to pants, and the aforementioned Triple H did the oppostie.

I would sport the short style trucks, similar to what was worn by AJ Styles years ago.
As far as Jericho in trunks, as a Jerichoholic for years, this will be quite an adjustment, but I am just glad that Jericho realized he needed to overhaul his gimmick. As much as I hate to admit it, "Y2J" was getting old.

jericho in trunks?? wow...i believe jericho is trying to do a lot with him turning heel then he has ever done before. with jericho size, we are so used to him wearing pants...i think he looks a lot smaller wearing trunks. we just got to get used to it.

I thought the look was ok for Jericho. We are looking at a new Jericho, so we get a new look. A beard, short hair, and now trunks. It will take a while to get use to, but I think it is gonna work. I like how Jericho is going all out on his new heel maturing gimmick. Best character on Raw right now. But if I was a wrestler, and I wouldn't be wearing trunks, cause I'm a big dude, so I would look really weird. I'd go with a pair of pants, and maybe a sleeveless tanktop, with some wristbands. I think that be more my look.

The trunks make him seem like a 'new' Chris Jericho. A more focused, mature, cutthroat Jericho instead of the goofy guy that makes fun of Steph, and calls people ass-clowns.

after watching jericho for years with pants, i was surprised to see him come out with trunks he just looked like a new jericho altogether but hopefully ill get used to it.
The tights for ages was good but i like the trunks they make him look more serious and lethal, also more buff unlike the tights which never refused to show his gut.
as for me, i'd wear either PVC/Latex shorts that go to like half my thigh or a dealio similar to Kurt Angles with the Generic Olympic outfit.

My jaw dropped. I at first thought it was JBL.. I'm not used to it at all. It's kinda weird.. And, I don't know.. I don't like it.
