The AL hasn't lost in 13 years. Will tonight be the night they finally lose?

All Star Game becomes more of a character of what it once was every year, mainly over the past decade. I've got all my beans in the NL basket this year, Padres are destined for home field advantage. Though the Irony of the best NL's Pitching staff not getting any pitchers on the team (Heath Bell as a Replacement, Bull Shit) is a bit hard to swallow; but I've become pretty desensitized to such hypocrisy against low market West Coast teams. Any who, San Diego, team of Destiny, Lets Go NL.

I legitimately believe this is the year of the NL, finally. The talent, more than ever, is even divided between both the NL and AL, and the starting lineups have done a fantastic job of at least trying to diversify the lineup. It'll be a tough match, but I ultimately give it to the NL.

You've gotta love the fact that the lone representative from the Seattle Mariners is there... In a Texas Rangers Jersey.

EDIT: after posting this, I realized Ichiro is there too. disregard this post.

I sure as hell hope I am not the only one who fucking loves this stuff. It's sappy, but it's all about helping others, which is a good thing.

I've always wondered, say someone like Fausto Carmona got traded before the ASG, would the Indians get another representative or what?

Is there anything resembling a point to this coming anytime soon?

They always have all the pregame stuff. I previously stated my enjoyment of the regular people doing good shit segment, so I don't mind. I don't know why the Glee broad sang a pop song, that was just filler.

Fuckin hell, what was that at the end of the National Anthem?

And if you were wondering, I stood in silence during the moment of silence for The Boss.
