Sorry if this is already a thread but i havent seen it. So now that the Miz is in a team with R-Truth, when they split from each other The Miz should go face. so here are my questions.
1) say the Miz does go face when they split how would it happen?
2) When would it happen?
3)And do you even want it to happen?

Let me answer number 3 first...

NOOOOOO. Miz is one of those perfect heels. He is not a cool heel, he is a snarky, whiny, pretty boy. i know eventually but only when he can be the number one face (ie Cena is out of the picture

If they did for any reason do it....Miz should turn after accused of being another part of the Conspiracy...a little Jimmy.

No, I don't think that it should happen, at least not now. If it were going to happen it should have happened shortly after Money in the Bank this year. I actually thought that's where they were going for a second.

He took a pretty nasty fall in the MITB match that actually made me think he may have hurt himself legitimately. Then he limped back down to the ring (note: he didn't sprint down to the ring showing that he had faked an injury to get a rest like a heel would) and almost won the match. Then the next night he was in the tournament for the WWE Championship and won both of his matches clean, all the while selling the injury from the night before, in order to make it to the finals... then all of a sudden he loses to Mysterio (really?) and is thrown into a team with R-Truth with no mention of how valiantly he fought at BITB and the following night on RAW in the WWE Championship tournament...

Anyways, as for how the split should happen, I don't even understand why they are together, so I really don't care.

Miz has it in him to be a babyface, check out his debut and his promo he got some people to cheer and a some shout Hoo-Rah but then an old guy ruined it and shouted "Go back to MTV". Miz's isn't bad in the ring I watched his debut matches he's great. People overlooked him and they still do. Miz did everything he could to stick out from promos, creating taunts in the ring, an
innovative wrestling style{ 2006-2009. Miz works hard the only thing that he didn't have was a resume like Evan Bourne, Low Ki and Bryan Danielson{ who I am a fan of no doubt.}

The Miz grew on me. At first I didn't really care for him much after he went to singles competition after the split with John Morrison.

Since then he has made me a fan of his heel character. He def does enough promo interaction with the fans to turn face like a Mr. Anderson/ Kennedy but even better.

I do agree though that like someone said Orton, Cena, CM Punk and The Miz won't all be top face main eventers so it'll take a heel turn out of Orton or Cena to really make room for The Miz to be "The peoples" like champion. But I think overall at this point The Miz for the rest of his career can turn face or heel and still be over with the fans. He really did a great study on Chris Jericho's character of how either face or heel Chris Jericho always knows just how to work the crowd and that's how I see The Miz. I hope he sticks in WWE for a longtime to come and no Side Projects take him away from Wrestling.

It's on the cards but not yet. I'm really enjoying the combination of Truth and Miz right now. One day I see the Miz being the number 1 face in the company but not just yet.

It's not that Truth will turn face, it just seems to be more logical. Truth isn't going to get tired of Miz's insane ramblings and drop him, is he? Normally, the one who starts the team split with a doubelcross will turn/remain heel while the victim gets to be the face. Truth's character isn't bright enough to back-stab Miz, I just don't see it happening. Miz will leave Truth lying, Truth will cost Miz a few matches from ringside, and we'll all embrace the lunatic.

I really hope neither happens..i really hate it that the WWE just put together Miz and Truth in a team, when they have nothing in common..
Although this could be really good if air boom go over them at NoC cuz they'd be going over two main event heels...
I say have them lose at Noc, maybe give them another shot at the titles, and never mention their team again... Awesome Truth just is'nt doing anything fr me (although their promos are good)...Both are too good as heels to be turned face IMO.

Actually, the fact that R-Truth and Miz have nothing in common is what makes it work. Who ever would have thought that Booker T and Goldust would have worked but it was non-stop entertainment back in the day.

They will be funny and actually Miz overcomes any of R-Truth's shortcomings and vice versa. Snarky and psychotic can be a great combo!

Bad guys who are funny can evolve into good guys all on their own. They do not need a huge "face" turn. They can keep doing what they are doing and by the time we get to 2012 we can have it happen naturally.

I honestly think it will be a situation where the generic quality of the characters they will be facing (Kofi and Bourne) will cause the crowds to cheer for R-Truth and Miz.

I would want to see Truth turn on The Miz brutally attacking him, and then we don't see Miz for months and then he makes his triumphant return by winning the Rumble eliminating his ex-partner Truth, therefore signalling Miz's face turn

miz is one of those people who wouldn't really work as a face. his arrogance makes him a perfect heel. this team won't last very long and they can split with both of them staying heel which is what will probably happen. the miz is a great heel and r-truth's heel turn has been the most entertaining thing he has ever done. they'll probably lose at night of champions then one of them will get involved in a new angle as they're split up

i agree to a point; when heels face 'blue chip' faces in the midst of a 'smart' crowd of course they will get more cheers. but they are still the heels after the match. this has happened to miz, edge, and others many times over.
what i do agree with is that wwe needs to let miz's face turn happen naturally. i see this happening sometime in the next year or so it is just in the air.
it is a special thing really that happens to few.
the rock didnt change his characteristics at all, the crowd changed to suit him.
ric flair had many 'natural' face turns in the 80s and that worked for those guys.
taker is another one.
those are my top 3 'natural' face turns of all time, the other big stars had 'moments' that turn them face. (see austin at WM 13)

it just seems much more special when the audience decides for themselves that they like a guy, and causes them to get behind said wrestler even more, making him an even bigger star.
that is what will happen with the miz.

I think that AwesomeTruth will remain a team for a while. They can win the titles and have a JeriShow style run, showing up on both shows. When they do split, a Miz face turn is inevitable. Truth is better off as a heel with his conspiracy rants and hatred of all little jimmy's. Miz does so many appearances for WWE.... It would be a mistake to not eventually turn him face and use that to their advantage. He could become Smackdown's face and bring in more viewers when he goes out making appearances. Orton could always go back to his heel character so that there would not be two top faces on the blue brand. Raw already has Cena and Punk in the main event face tier.

I disagree. The whole idea of Truth's heel character, as well as their current pairing is that Truth believes that he is being held down by some "conspiracy."

Miz goes all over the place making media appearances. Because of Miz's media work, Truth can turn on the Miz out of some insane belief that Miz was "in on the conspiracy."
