The Miz and Maryse

I think the wwe missed a big oppurtunity to make them a power couple that they teased periodically for months, think of this it could have launched the miz into the main event (ala edge and lita)and they could have controlled monday night raw eventually ending in both being champion,him the wwe champion,or they could have had a romance with him doing her wrong in someway resulting in a large face turn for maryse either way you get the miz in the main event and give the fans a reason to care about maryse other than her looks which is what the divas need More Interaction with the men .Now maybe they should delay this due to the draft making raw's mainevent scene so crowded but a year or so might be the perfect time.Now what do you guys or girls think of this.

I actually remember hearing about this potentially happening MONTHS ago, back when Miz had more gold than a jewelry store, but apparently that was scrapped. I remember reading that the idea was that Maryse had gotten really into Miz after he won the tag titles, but I don't think Miz should've won the WWE Title. They're building him very well, not at the moment, but they are building him for the future. I also don't like the idea of a Maryse face turn. She shouldn't be a diva face, as look at who they are and where they end up. When was the last time anyone saw Kelly Kelly? I can't remember. I do know that Layla was making weekly appearances before she got the Womens title. This could, and maybe should have happened, but I don't see a reason for it to happen now, and it should be held off on for some time, or altogether.

I was disappointed when it became apparent that they weren't doing it, but hey that's life. And ofcourse who's to say they won't do it sometime in the future.

I would've liked to see this. Miz and Maryse are very good heels, and they would've made an awesome couple, but I don't think they would've reached the level of power couple. Sure Maryse would've been the Diva's champion, and Miz would've been the US champion, but it's highly likely they would've been a mid card couple. They would not have reached the power level like Triple H and Stephanie or Edge and Vickie.

Even in a year's time, I still don't think they would reach the level of power couple. The Raw main event scene is just way too crowded with Cena, Orton, Edge, Sheamus, and Triple H, and even if Miz were to win the belt, I highly doubt he would hold on to it for a long time. I would love to see this. Although, if this were to happen, Miz and Maryse would most likely be a mid card couple, but I'm sure both of them could pull this off, and they would do a great job at it.

Im a big miz fan but he isnt ready for the main event yet. People need to realize this. Give him time serioiusly in a couple of years they could do this angle when the miz is ready to be a main eventer. So te wwe didnt miss the boat on an angle they just havent chosen to use it yet. Im sure they will eventually will and Im sure it will be gold just give it time and be patient
