So it was just announced via ign.com that the Macho Man Randy Savage would be returning to his first WWE video game since I think, the days of the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis. Last year, the Macho Man got his first WWE action figure in about 15 years. So my question is, do you think this a sign that the heat between Savage and Vince McMahon has cooled down? Will we be seeing more involvement between the WWE and Macho Man? Maybe even a possible Hall of Fame induction this year? Any thoughts on the issue, or maybe I am just reading to much into this? I put this in the WWE section specifically because I dont want this a discussion about the game specifically, but more about whether this is a sign we may see the Macho Man back with the WWE is some form.

My topic was merge with yours, didn't realise one was already made., well I was writing it while you were posting it :)

As most of you know, Randy Savage kind of came back to the WWE family earlier this year by doing promotion for a figurine of him from Mattel and the WWE.

Well today on a gaming site that I frequent, IGN.com it was reported that Macho Man is confirmer for WWE All-Star, a new WWE game that has arcade gameplay and will provide fast paced match that will deviate from the simulation formula of Smackdown! vs Raw.

Randy Savage is even doing the promotion for it in a video.

The rumors that were spread around was that 3 big names were secured for this year Hall of Fame, so my question is do you think it will finally be the year that we see The Macho Man at Wrestlemania and what are your feelings if it were to happen?

I know I would shit my pants if it were to happen. Macho Man is easily one of the biggest name in wrestling for me and when I was young you were aware of Hogan and him, so I would really like to see him back in the good grace just like Bret Hart.

seems like Vince has been showing more respect and showing some forgiveness in his old age. I wonder if Vince feels like he's going to die soon? you know how some people give shit away or just stop caring when they are going to die?

That is exactly what I was thinkin'...lol, joke. But seriously, you made my day.

Can't see them having Hogan in the game, so they need somebody big from the 80's. They used The Warrior in that awful Legends Of Wrestling game, so the only other person they could use was Savage. Even If I hadn't forgotten this game was coming out I wouldn't have been surprised when I saw this.

Vince needs to get over it and quit acting like a little bitch. So he has this "personal" situation with a former employee. Who cares. It's about the fans, Vince, not about you. Many of us grew up watching the Macho Man, Hogan, Million Dollar Man, Utimate Warrior, and many others that we feel deserve a HOF spot. Therefore give us what we want.

My apologies if Randy Savage is the culprit. To him I'd say the same: give it a break, already. I wish fans would boycott the game if Savage and Vince don't bury the hatchet.

Excuse me if I'm jumping the gun and find that Macho Man and Vince have reconciled. Still my words remain valid until I actually see the Macho King enducted into the HOF.:worship:

Great news, Macho is one of the best ever and deserves to be back in the fold. I think with HBK going in this year they should save Macho Man has next years HOGF headliner, but I'd love to see him back on TV for a short angle like Bret had.

Do you even have a clue what you are on about? If you did, you would know that Vince has been in contacting with those he has fell out with over the years. He made peace with Hogan, called an end to the Screwjob with Bret, has asked Warrior to be in the HOF and so on. You'll be surprised that Vince actually wants these to be recognised. Don't mistake the tv character for the real Vince, the two are completely different. A lot of things goes on behind the scenes that we the fans will never know about, no matter how much we can guess. To even suggest to boycott the game if the two don't bury the hatchet stinks of hypocrite.

I definitely think the situation between Savage and WWE has cooled down, here is the video from when he promoted his new WWE figure:

and now with this video game appearance, it would appear things have got to be better between them. If things keep going this way, I'd say it's only a matter of time before Macho is back on TV, so if WWE really is high on Percy Watson, they better tell him to get a new catch phrase, oh yeah!

Do I think Randy gets inducted in to the HoF this year? I wouldn't be shocked if he did, but in a way, I kind of hope he isn't. While he did spend a portion of his career in WCW that wasn't where he made his mark. Also, with Shawn already set as the big draw for this years ceremony I feel like inducting Randy will make him seem like second fiddle. I think you could get away with putting in Goldberg, Arn Anderson, etc. I really think Savage should be the big highlight of the year he gets inducted though, and I think next year would be a better time for that. Though there is absolutely no question he deserves to be inducted in the HoF, whenever that may be.

Hell Yeah! Finally Macho Man is put into a video game. I wish he would've been put into WWE Legends of Wrestlmania w/ Miss Elizabeth though.

I really see there being more and more of a chance of Savage FINALLY being put into the WWE hall of fame. I really didn't think there was a shot in hell years ago but with the DVD, action figure, and now video game I can really see it happening. That will be a great day when The Macho Man (and hopefully Liz is inducted with him) is FINALLY inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Hell yeah! Its awesome to see Macho Man in a WWE game! Hope that next year he will be a legend in Smackdown vs Raw! That would be awesome...a RTWM with the legendary Macho Man ooooooh yeeeeeeeah!

I think that with this appearance in the Allstars game, the DVD and the promotion of his actipn figure, Savage and Vince must be on better terms, and I do think he will be entering the hall of fame. However, with HBK being the big draw this year, I dont think think we will see Macho this time. He is by far a big enough name to be the main event himself.

Maybe next year...oooooooh yeeeeeeah!

LMAO I don't think Vince is going to die any time soon!

It is probably just that the anger has faded away for Savage over the years, same with Bret, and Vince realises how much money being on good terms with these two is going to make him. He is a businessman after all, and money talks in Vinnie Macs world

I think next year would be a perfect time to induct Mach into the HOF cuz with HBK going in this year, it would overshadow Savage. And like everyone here have been saying Vinnie Mac is very forgiving recently, so I can see it happening.

Also, Savage being in the All stars game is cool cause I just read on this sight that Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior & Randy Orton were recently added to the game, which is sweet.

I'm drooling at the fact i'll be able to have the MEGA POWERS as a tagteam and have Savage vs Hogan. That's awesome news.

hopefully he'll be in svr next year. it seems to make sense. i'm still waiting for them to offer all of their legends for purchase in one of the future svr.
