The fan run-in at Summerslam had to be fake..

It was funny, but it was so anti-climatic.

#1: They actually kept the camera on him and everything.
#2: WWE.com actually mentioned the fan running in, which they never, ever do.

Orton 'FANS' DOWN CENA
WWE Champion Randy Orton couldn't get himself counted or or disqualified in his SummerSlam match with John Cena. But in the end, he didn't need to; A crazed fan jumped into the ring and gave The Viper his chance to strike Cena down.

Edit: Just got a picture off of WWE.com. Pretty sure the fan was Cody Rhodes. Has hair like Cody, dresses like Cody does. I'm sure you've seen Cody on RAW in street clothes.

EDIT#2!!

According to PWInsider.com, WWE developmental star Brett DiBiase (brother of Legacy member Ted DiBiase Jr.) was the "fan" who ran-in during the Randy Orton vs. John Cena WWE title match at SummerSlam last night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

DiBiase is 21 years old and is the other son of "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase (Sr.). DiBiase signed his WWE developmental deal in early 2009

Yeah it was definitely staged. If it wasn't Randy and Cena both would have gone after the fan too for taking down a ref. A unspoken code of conduct is, if a fan makes it into ring, the match stops and everyone gets to beat the shit out of said fan until he is taken out of the ring. The fact none this happened tells us it was fake, staged. I'm sure on Raw we will hear more about it and find out who it was for sure.

I didn't know that. Probably because it's unspoken.. Makes sense though.
