His accomplishments speak for themselves.
I'm sure we'll see our fair share of smarks who dislike Bret because he didn't do "flippies" and dared to return to professional wrestling in 2010. But, that changes nothing.
The man put on
amazing matches throughout his career, and beat just about anyone worth talking about. He was a technical specialist, and could brawl with the best of them (check his feud with Steve Austin). Outside of talking, he didn't have a weakness. And on the mic, he wasn't nearly as weak as some of you make him out to be:

His Anti-America heel persona was one of the best of the late 90's, which established The Hart Foundation as one of the better heel stables I've seen over the years.
In a kayfabe sense, Bret Hart has no weakness in tournament like this. He's beat em' all; big, small, fat, skinny, strong, quick, etc. You name the style of wrestling, he's seen it..and beaten it.
