The Best... Unpopular Movie

Mac Attack

I'm neat.
The next entry into the Best series, the Best movie that nobody really cares all too much about.

The story of how God gives up faith in man and decides to destroy the world. One of the opening lines is everytime God (Chrisitan) destroyed the human race he sent Angels. This time Michael the archangel fails to follow through on God's order and decides th help ortect the human race from God and ultimately the other archangel Gabriel. The main problem is God has forsaken him and has taken away his wings. This is one creepy movie and honestly can make someone quite depressed. However without spoiling the ending it has a suprise ending with an interesting twist. This movie was a movie that a enjoyed watching and I think it should have done better then it actually did. It has a unique story that really made me interested in it.

My mom loves that movie. She thinks it is hysterical.

I don't know how popular it is now, but I at the time I knew my fair share of people who hated it but..

Doom is one of my favorite movies. I enjoy the Rock as an actors way more than I do as him being the wrestler. Stylistically, I thought the movie was pretty. The movie reminds me a lot of another favorite of mine, Ghost of Mars, but without really the need to pay attention or you will get confused by what it is happening.

Now I don't know if at one point or another Demolition Man was popular, because it does have stars like Sly and Snipes in it, but I have to say to me it's one of the most overlooked films Stallone has taken part in. Not a classic like Rocky or Rambo, Demolition Man manages to mix action and comedy quite well. Quite a sci-fi epic when you think about it; a man from the 20th century must track down the baddest man on the planet who is also from his time in a futuristic world founded on peace, censor machines, jingles, and Taco Bell.

And seriously, the bad guy's name is Simon Phoenix, so it's awesome in all of it's cheesy glory when "Simon says" is quoted a couple of times.

Judge Dredd.

Coincidentally, SAMCRO, another Stallone movie. Perhaps it's just because I was a child but I loved watching it when I was younger. I read a bit about it on wikipedia and apparently it has a 3.6/10 on rotten tomatoes. I don't really remember anything about it but I really want to watch it right now.

One of my favorite movies actually makes this list, the amazing Stephen King's IT. It is such a horrible and corny movie really but for some reason I absolutly love it. The cast isnt amazing but it does have some big names like John Ritter, Tim Reid, a young Seth Green and Tim Curry as Pennywise.
For those of you who dont know about it the story is about this group of kids that is harassed by a monster that can shapeshift into what you fear most(but often takes the form of a clown), it comes back every thirty years to eat the children in the town of Derry(Maine) but it cant be stopped because adults cant see it. Our main charecters survive by teaming together and killing it,but after 30 years they realize they didnt kill it and that they need to finish what they started before it finishes them.
This is one of those bad 90's horrors that's kind of scary but also kind of stupid and funny. When I first saw it as a kid it scared the crap out of me as I was afraid of clowns, but my friend made me watch it a year later and I fell in love with it. It's fun to watch from the begining to end, the entire 187 minutes of it. If you havent seen this then I would reccomend it if you have alot of time on your hands

You need to define what you mean by the best of the most unpopular films because some movies that may be considered "unpopular" by one person could be very popular to another group of people. But, seeing as we are on a wrestling forum and I really don't post wrestling that often, allow me to kind of post wrestling for a moment. I absolutely love Ready to Rumble and I know a lot of people shit all over it. Fair enough considering it's star went on to win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship but that debacle aside I absolutely loved Ready to Rumble. I thought it was hilarious in that stupid dick and fart jokes kind of way. And as someone who loved wrestling back then I thought it was really cool to see guys I really liked such as Booker T and Billy Kidman in a movie showcasing what they did. Not a great film obviously, but it has developed a bit of a cult following and I happen to be apart of that cult following. I love Ready to Rumble.

I'm going with the 1995 film, Angus.

I would say that this movie has proved to be both unpopular and that nobody cares about it...except for me :)

This is the story about a fat kid, Angus, that is not only a science geek, but also a great defensive tackle on the school's football team. From the time he started school, Angus has been picked on for his size and ironic name (Angus- Cow), by Rick Sanford (James Van der Beek).

Rick is a guy that has the world at his finger tips. He is good looking, the quarterback for the football team, dating the head cheerleader, and the class president. But for some reason, Rick hates Angus and just has to mess with him. Eventually, Rick devises a plan to get Angus elected Snow Ball King, just so he can embarass Angus in front of the entire school.

This is a movie about differenes, overcoming the odds, taking chances, believing in yourself, and not being afraid to say "screw em'" to the people that judge you.

A huge plus to this movie is the soundtrack---Green Day, Weezer, and the Goo Goo Dolls.

Also, the film features actors George C. Scott, Chris Owen (the Shermanator from American Pie), Kathy Bates, and Kevin Connolly (Entourage).
