Ok we need this, with all due respect to Haiku, he touched on one aspect in another thread but we need a big one to cover the entire spectrum cozbah gawd, there are loads to talk about from that interview.


I'll get this mug rolling with the first snowball:

Vince's opinion on why WCW ended; beautiful. "They (WCW) didn't wanna make the trip every Monday and Tuesday".

WCW ended because it was losing ridiculous amounts of money. But that doesn't sound as sexy.

Vince probably knows less about what was going on at WCW than most the members of this forum. I assume he was consumed with his own product at the time and still hasn't found time/desire to learn about what WCW was doing since then.

I think at times, we severly underestimate how much he understands the mentality of others.

From the podcast it seems that the Stone Cold character was based on the real Vince McMahon. The "Mr. McMahon" character was based on the arrogant types he detested. It was brilliant!

I laughed when he said he wasn't out of touch. Yes you are. You just made a stable of African-American choir boys in the year 2014.

I also laughed when Austin said "With all due respect to TNA". McMahon saw it coming was trying to cut him off way before he said it.
