Teddy Long Announcement

According to WWE.com, at 3 o'clock today, Teddy Long is going to be making an announcement. What could it be? Your thoughts.

I would have thought it would have something to do with No Mercy, another match added to the card prehaps? Thats the only thing I can think of right now, or maybe its something bigger, someone being added to the SD Roster, Long stepping down, could be any number of different things.

Probably about either:

1) Rey vs Chavo in a gimmick match
2) A potential trade for John Cena from the RAW brand.

But like St. Johnny said, it could be a number of things and all of the damn spammers on this board are going to hop on and say that ITS THE NWO!!!

So this thread was nice while it lasted and i'm glad i contributed to it before it started to suck.

It'll probably be the addition of John Cena. The WWE is well aware of how SD is lacking star power (even though the wrestling matches are much better than RAW's) and they know what to do to increase ratings.

Yeah I think it's gonna involve Cena somehow. Smackdown definitely needs the starpower, even though like you rightly say the matches are generally better on SD!

They wouldn't make that trade because they are already hyping Lashley vs Booker. Cena is going to fight Edge on RAW and probably lose the title because of Booker and his court. Setting up maybe a Lashley vs Booker vs Cena Triple Threat at No Mercy??

I'm probably just talking out of my butt but aw well if it happens then it happens.

How about trading Matt Hardy for Cena because we all know that Matt never wins on SD anymore, he has no real angle, he goes to RAW and reunites with Jeff to form the Hardy Boyz again. NOW that could work.

im thinking it could be either of these things, some others have stated, then again it could be anything:

trade for cena to come to smackdown
long stepping down
something bigger for the roster or something better for smackdown (maybe its going live, i fucking hope)
world title for wwe title

who knows, it could be anything. but...i hope that it is cena coming to smackdown meaning that their possibly could be a title trade, or smackdown is going live, if long steps down, i hope they end up finding someone good to take his place.

Cena wont b joining Smackdown immediately as WWE's top brand will b without a champion & then either the WH title or WWE title will av 2 b demoted in terms of status. It could b a match involving Cena at Cyber Sunday, Raw Family Reunion, No Mercy or Survivor Series.
