It looks as if the WWE are looking into this guy, maybe to add to their Super Heavyweight division. After looking up the guy on a few websites, I have to say, I am quite impressed. He seems the sort who would be welcome there, and I think he could have a good match with the likes of Umaga, or even Kane.

I say they should go for it. What's the worst that could happen? He seems to have potential and they shouldn't walk away from that too soon. Add this to Vinces love of larger wrestlers, and you can see him being a part of the WWE properly in the near future.

I like this guy from the little I've seen. He's got that big man look that Vince LOVES and has the in ring ability to back it up. He was the ROH champion and that doesn't happen by accident. This guy is a legit moving giant and therefore fun to watch. There hasn't been a giant Asian since Yokozuna and its high time there was one. This guy can go in the ring. Get him a translator and you've got another good heel. From the little I've seen, I say sign him up.

Morishima is a fantastic performer, and I believe he'd be the kind of guy who'd get the push he deserves if he should join WWE. I would want Bryan Danielson to sign with WWE before him, but Morishima kicks major ass as well. One of the best "big men" I've ever seen.

I'm a big fan of Takeshi.I have seen him win the GHC with his sick backdrop driver and boy I was impressed. But He really should go to ECW not RAW.ECW has Kane,Cena and Batitsa. On SD! he would be drawfed by Khali and Taker.ECW needs that one big guy that can wrestle.Remember Big Show had a great run as ECW Champ in 2006.

But I really am doubting that he will sign with WWE.Hes massive in Japan, champion of one of the most respected wrestling federations in the world AND WWE will proably sterotype him.I would love it to happen....but I don't see it happening.

Since I don't get around to watching enough of the Indy promotions I'm not sure who he is. When I saw that someone had beat Jamie Noble in a Dark Match, I chuckled. But if this guy is going to have a half decent run in the WWE, then get him over here. Im all about getting new wrestlers a shot in the WWE. Maybe after Mark Henry is done on ECW, as he looks to retire, he could come over to ECW and be a monster heel. If he can move around, its great fo rthe WWE. Pair him with Umaga and get a great match out of the Super Heavyweights.

WWE looked at him as potential monster heel when ECW restarted. They couldn't get Masato Tanaka, so they tried to get Morishima, to no avail.

I can't see him working in WWE. He might look like a giant in ROH but in NOAH he's nothing special, and neither would he be in WWE. He also has the face of a chubby toddler. But WWE appreat to be embracing new styles as of late, so he could possibly get over if he tried something new. It appears to be working for Evan Bourne. Or as somebody who isn't charismatic and doesn't fly he'll probably be largely ignored.

Although you're right, King Jake, in that he's not anything special in NOAH, he'd most likely be the one who would make it the most in WWE IMO. God knows Vince wouldn't do anything with the likes of KENTA, Marufuji or Shiozaki.

The thing that interested me was his supposed dark match on SD. For those of you who didn't read the spoilers, I won't ruin it. But it was interesting none the less.

Unless the guy was in the ring with Danielson or Samoa Joe, I was never fond of anything Morishima did.

However, even though I really hated his ROH run, I do think I would enjoy the dude in WWE. I use to have the same feelings for a lot of ECW guys. The Dudleys, for example. I didn’t like those motherfuckers in ECW and I sure as hell don’t like them now in TNA, but in WWE, I was a fan. I guess I have a habit of always rooting for "Big name Indy guys" to make something of themselves once they reach New York. Morishima I don't think would be an exception. He's highly overrated by Indy and Japanese wrestling fans and like I said... I REALLY hated his run as ROH Champion (I would go as far as to say he's my least favorite champion in ROH history), but I still think I would get a kick out of seeing him get a push in WWE.

When I said special I was referring to his size and look. Out of all the current wrestlers in NOAH he's byfar the best, certainly in the heavyweight division.

But at 6'3'' and 320lbs he's really isn't that big in WWE. He's above average. But he's still be dwarfed by Undertaker, Big Show and other. Even Edge is taller I think. And his physique is very jelly like. Unlike his fellow fat ass Umaga he's solid for a fat guy.

I might be wrong, and the stupid part of me thought Takeshi was black. :lmao: (Hey, Robert Downey is, why can't a japanese guy be too?) At any rate, I swear I read somewhere that Tony Atlas was his manager for a Dark match on E.C.W.. and that got me thinking that with Mark's assumed push into the Main Event revolving around racist issues.. perhaps this would be the PERFECT time for them to bring in another member, and suddenly reform the Nation of Domination!

Now, again for whatever reason I wasn't thinking Japanese when I thought of Morishima, and now I don't even know why.. but it could still slightly work. I mean, Owen Hart was in the N.o.D., so why can't Morishima be too?

I think an alliance with Mark Henry is more suitable for Morishima than a Raw spot. I mean, Raw is Heavyweight and top talent heavy, even right now. They have a ton of Heavyweight contender's, and next to NO Intercontinental contender's.. so that'd be where he'd head if he did come to Raw, but since that division is overly hurting right now.. I think it'd hurt him more than help him, to join it.

Thus, a reformation of the Nation, along side Tony Atlas and Mark Henry would be just what E.C.W., as well as all 3 individuals likely need right now.

- In yet another update on Takeshi Morishima and WWE, there's talk that WWE probably won't sign him because they didn't like his look and felt he didn't show up in the best shape.

Did WWE do no research on him before hand? He's fat, has been for years. So like Umaga, Big Show and other he is out of shape. But like Umaga he's more than capable of running around for a bit before he looks like he's about to die. Unlike Big Show who looks pooped just walking down to the ring.

Oh my god, this just defies basic logic; if they’ve been keeping up with him for a year, and were aware of what he looked like, why was it considered "disrespectful" for him to come in the way he is?

Also, his "size" has nothing to do with his conditioning at all. In fact, for a man with his breast size, his conditioning is fairly good. It’s all about him not fitting WWE’s ideal look, which is tan and body builder... or, in other words, something you’d see in a Playgirl and/or Chippendale’s.

I am by no means a fan of Morishima, but this is completely fucking ******ed.
