SVR 2011 bullshittin thread

And unfortunately you can't do number one contender's matches, but you can do title matches if you assign your champion a belt like the Cruiserweight title or the ECW Championship. Those can be defended at any time, so if you put it on your current champion then you can choose to defend either the title you put on them or the proper title they have. Alternatively you can go to My WWE and just reassign titles like that.

Wait, you can put a generic title (ECW, either Tag, Cruiser, etc) on a current "known" Champion (WWE, World, Unified, IC, US) and upon going into a match set-up you can select "title match" then glitch it to be for the "known" title as opposed to the generic one you put on them?

SWEET! I did not know this.

Of course, the only flaw is their entrances would be "two belt" intros; which almost all of them (except Rock's, oddly enough) look like pure shit.

So I just finally got a hold of this game and started the WWE Universe. Out of curiosity how do you guys go about doing the draft and can you custom pick number one contenders matches and what not? I haven't figured everything out yet and I know someone of you guys, I'm looking at Will and Norcs here, know your shit when it comes to this game.

Doc went a bit too advanced for my tastes as for how I'm doing my draft. I'm thinking long term on the type of feuds I'll be HOPING to see, as well as the type of feuds I'm going to be pushing to happen.

So that being said, I'll likely take 10 names from each show, and swap them out. 3-4 Main Eventers, and the rest mid-carders. Keeping in mind, anyone in the Tag Team division normally ends up on either show anyways, under tag matches.

The important thing to understand is you can force the Universe to do what you want - but not always will you get the nifty cut-scene moments by doing so. (ie. I can put a Heavyweight title on Santino, without him becoming a contender for it; but it won't show him winning the title during the match he was "suppose" to win it in.)

Thanks Doc, I'll have to try that now. Also, you guys are pretty hardcore, have any good CAWS for superstars from the Attitude era? I would love to put 3 Count together Doc. ;)

INDY, if you have the game for the 360.. type in the search bar "Dre41" he has amazing CAWs.

Beyond that, it's purely simple.. just narrow your search down to "highest rated" and under keywords - enter their name. (ie. X-Pac, D'Lo Brown, Roaddogg, etc, etc) That's how I found most of my guys.

You can enter any keyword, and as long as the CAW makers have put that down for one of their creations - it'll pop up. I recently found an amazing Paul Burchill that has a custom attire, but it is the best PB I've seen yet and the custom attire looks amazing, even if it isn't original.

This thread seems once again forgotten. :lmao: Time for an update, it'll be (as quick as I can make them) short notes.

I just finished my Extreme Rules ppv. The Draft has happened. Some note-worthy names to switch brands.. *(ie. people who'll be used in future stories)

To Raw: CM Punk, Luke Gallows, Beer Money, Big Show, Kane, Mark Henry.

To Smackdown: Edge, The Corre, Impact Players, Kurt Angle.

Now, up-to-date storylines.

RAW's Top Story: Following Extreme Rules, DX now holds all the gold. (HHH = WWE Champion, X-Pac = US Champion, New Age Outlaws = Tag Champs) The Outsiders have reformed and vowed to take down the Outlaws. Marty Jannetty has returned and a cliq has formed between HBK, Jannetty & the Outsiders - against DX. The DX/Cliq war really takes up several matches at a time, when they're broken down.

Smackdown's Top Story: The Undertaker retained against Mick Foley, inside a HIAC match at Extreme Rules. The return of guys like Kurt Angle, and Vader have brought new challengers to Taker's yard.

Even though Punk is now on Raw, he refuses to leave Smackdown - since he "owns" Christian's contract, and Christian is still the IC Champion after refusing to let Punk climb the ladder at the ppv to claim the title.

My Tag Team Division has grown even more since before.. (in no order)

Hart Dynasty, Impact Players, S.E.S., Beer Money, New Age Outlaws, the Outsiders, Embassy, Los Boricuas, McGullicutty & Harris, The Corre, and Styles/Daniels. This does not include the following teams which will re-emerge within the coming weeks/months..

Dark City Fight Club, Hardyz, Cryme Tyme.

I know Will.I put enough time in to get to HIAC.This is whats been happening.

RAW:Kurt Angle lost his title at The Bash to Edge.In Kurt's Last chance at the WWE title match at NOC in a triple threat between Edge,Kurt and Rey mysterio when Edge retained.Santino cashed in his MITB case afterwards and won the WWE championship.Edge and Santino are feuding with each other as are Rey and Angle.

Chris Masters lost his title to Heath Slater at Extreme Rules.Chris Benoit's then debuted at The Bash and won the title in a triple threat between the three of them and has been defending since then.Currently in a feud with Daniel Bryan.

Smackdown:
Sheamus.Big Show.Ezekiel Jackson.Kane.4 behemoths all fighting for the IC title.Sheamus is currently the champion.

In the lead up to Extreme Rules Sean lost 4 matches in a row.At Extreme Rules he retained the WHC to Ziggler where he announced after he lost his 4th match he would retire. He however was injured badly after getting the win with a small cradle after being Knocked from teh apron and landing awkwardly on his arm on top of the steel steps.Ziggler won the title on SD in a 6 man battle royal and went on a long run including a clean win over Sting. After retaining at NOC he put out an open challenge. No one answered untill the familiar tune "Hopeless" by Breaking Benjamin played. And out came Sean. The man whose career was almost ended by Ziggler.

Current HIAC card.

Sheamus vs Big Show vs Ezekiel Jackson vs Kane IC title Fatal Four Way Elimination Match

Chris Benoit vs Daniel Bryan US title Submission Match

Kurt Angle vs Rey Mysterio Grudge Match

Edge vs Santino Marella HIACH WWE title Match

Sean vs Dolph Ziggler Last Man Standing HIAC WHC Match.

I'm going to bump this, since I wanna see how everybody's doing in their universe. I recently got the game so I'm not far along, but I have high hopes for it. Styles, Daniels, and Joe debuted and destroyed Big Show. That's my latest "big event."

I'm done with SVR 2011. It's not a bad game, but I completed everything in the game and gotten so used to Universe mode. The only thing I still do in game is make complete shows out of Story Designer.

Plus, why does everyone hate analog controls? They are way better and much easier to use than buttons, especially when you run and walk

Shao Kahn was my Undisputed Champion for a while, until Action Saxton cashed in his Money in the Bank and won the World Heavyweight Championship. The main event of Wrestlemania was Royal Rumble winner Duke Nukem vs. Action Saxton in the manliest match ever.

My tag team champions are The Spectral Envoy (Ultramantis Black and Druid), with my other teams being The Avengers (Captain America and Spider-Man), The Colony (Fire Ant and Soldier Ant), The Mario Brothers, Allied Powers, Edge and Christian, and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Recently I've stopped really caring and have just been simming random matches and months at a time just to see what wackiness the game can come up with. I love having all these downloaded CAWs, makes my title scenes interesting to say the least.

This sounds like all sorts of epic.

Geeze Doc, sounds like you could actually play out the Battle Dome tourney.

I don't feel like getting into my WWE Universe too much right now, but here's my card for the upcoming Survivor Series PPV and a little history for each feud. Before you ask, I turn WWE Universe mode off for however many matches I need to, but put them all in the Survivor Series arena, and just pretend that they're part of the PPV.

John Cena (c) vs. Steve Austin- Cena has been champ since the Raw after WrestleMania. Austin beat Randy Savage, earning the number one contendership for a shot at the title at Bragging Rights, but CM Punk weaseled his way into the match, making it a Triple Threat. Austin gets his first one on one shot at the title since rejoining the WWE.

The Defenders (Steamboat, Edge, Christian) vs. The Invaders (Hogan, Flair, Bryan)- This was a long feud where Hogan and Flair formed a group of guys (Hogan, Flair, DBD, Kane, and Big Show) to take over Smackdown by winning all the titles... and they did! But Ricky Steamboat formed a group consisting of himself, Goldberg, Edge, Christian, and Jericho, in order to stop them. Hogan took out Goldberg, who was replaced with The Rock, and eventually the Defenders managed to get all the titles away from The Invaders. Big Show and Kane got tired of Hogan and Flair bossing them around, and quit the group. This is the last stand for The Invaders, and if The Defenders can win, The Invaders will be forced to dissolve.

The Rock (c) vs. Jericho- So after Rock beat Hogan for the title, the rest of The Defenders came to celebrate with him, but he had security stop them from entering the ring, claiming this was his moment, and nobody else's. He slowly turned heel, but Jericho has earned a shot at the title, hoping to bring the belt back to the good guys.

Team Triple H (Triple H, Savage, CM Punk) vs. Team HBK (HBK, Sting, Fury)- Buddy Rogers tricked HBK and Triple H into turning on each other over the chance to become the US Champion. Neither of them are, but they ARE at each others' throats. Sting and Savage have been feuding on and off all year. Savage and Fury are former tag team champions, and ran the division for months, but eventually dropped the titles to Big Show and Kane. Following their loss, Savage turned on Fury and took him out. This will be Fury's glorious return.

The Phenoms (AJ Styles, Dolph Ziggler, John Morrison) vs. RVD, Rey Mysterio, Ryder- The Phenoms (AJ Styles and Dolph Ziggler) claim to be the future of the WWE, and have taken it upon themselves to remove the "relics" that are RVD and Rey Mysterio. Ryder and Morrison have been feuding for a few months.

Team Raw (Angle, Miz, R-Truth) vs. Team Smackdown (Kofi, Big Show, Kane)- Just a typical Raw vs. Smackdown match.

Team Rogers (Rogers, Race, Terry Funk) vs. Team Thesz (Thesz, Swagger, Snuka)- Thesz and his protege Swagger are all about bringing prestige back to a pure wrestling style. Rogers and Race are all about winning by any means necessary, putting them at odds with Thesz and Swagger. Snuka and Funk have been feuding for about a month now.

Hart Foundation (Bret Hart, DH Smith, Tyson Kidd) vs. The Empire (Davey Boy Smith, Sheamus, Drew McIntyre)- Bret Hart and British Bulldog have been struggling to beat Sheamus and Drew McIntyre for months, and even bringing in the second generation of Dungeon Graduates couldn't help them overcome the wrestlers from the other side of the pond. Davey Boy made a surprise turn and decided to team up with what he deems is the true future of the WWE.

Sin Cara (c) vs. Cody Rhodes for Cruiserweight Championship- Nothing really to talk about here, Sin Cara is the champ, Cody Rhodes is number one contender.

Natalya (c) vs. Trish Stratus- No real feud here either.
