Amazon has officially charged me for Smash Bros, which means it'll be shipping today. Just one...more...day!
In preparation for the release, I finally beat the Elite 4 and officially "finished" Pokemon X using only Lucario, Charizard, Pikachu, Jigglypuff and Greninja. It was a bitch. I basically had to super-charge Charizard to lvl 80, because Pikachu and Jiggly were useless. Final time - 42:50. Granted, a lot of that time was spent idle or using the bicycle simulator to breed with my new 100 perfect Ditto (thanks Reddit).
So I achieved my goal of beating that game before Smash Bros came out!
When I finally put Smash Bros down, I've got Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, and Bravely Default to get through. Got them both for $40 at a local game shop. Psyched! (Seriously, buying a new 3DS was the best decision I've made all year).

Sorry Killjoy. I ordered via Amazon for that very reason. You can't get it at midnight, but you can get game day release most of the time. I got my copy at 4PM Friday.
I was thinking of going through Amazon for when Pokemon comes out next month, but as usual, Gamestop is offering promo's with purchase. Dammit.

What an awesome soundtrack.
Will they be releasing the Gamecube controller adapter in the UK? Can't find it listed anywhere, though Eurogamer says it'll be coming the same day. It's not too huge a problem, I own a pro controller, but come on - the Gamecube controller is what Smash is supposed to be played with.

I've got the 3DS version & it is absolutely awesome! I think it actually might be my favorite version of Smash Bros. ever! I just wish it had an actual campaign mode instead of the Smash Run mode. Also I really hope they eventually release a DLC with some more battle stages & maybe a couple more characters that they left out like Snake or Mewtwo with it's two X/Y Mega Evolutions.
They need a trademark for Snake and Nintendo hasn't released a MSG game since the late Gamecube. As for Mewtwo, it's very doubtful since Nintendo said that would either mean remaking him from scratch or importing his model from Melee which is also too complicated for their liking.
Also, I did not know Luigi was a Cactus Jack fan.
Just fought Master Core for the first time. Awesome.

I know nothing about this from a technical standpoint, but somebody told me they didn't include Ice Climbers because there was a tech issue with the way they render both models, and the system's 3D functionality. Sakurai mentioned something about it being "3D or Ice Climbers, but not both", and I don't think it was a limit of space on the physical card.
Also, won't DLC be stored on the SD card anyways?
