A Rock surprise appearance is an unlikely possibility since they would want to promote the crap out of it but it might be a nice shock for the folks that are paying good money for this. Anyone know where he is working right now?

If he shows up live and cuts a promo it is guaranteed to kill 20 minutes. Maybe he can show up and screw Cena out of another main event.

Honestly: I read some report about people in WWE expecting Cena and Punk to go the distance. My immediate reaction was "When's the last time the WWE established what the distance is in that company?" Can you think of any better combination to show us?

If anyone is going to pull off an hour long match it'd be these two. But they produced a classic in half that time last month so I'm not really begging for an hour long match.

Not that I'd complain if it went down though.

There's no way the match itself goes beyond 30 minutes. They may extend it beyond this with other extracurriculars, such as an ADR cash-in, Triple H interference, a Vince McMahon sighting, or interference from someone else, but the match itself won't last the half hour mark. And neither will Orton/Christian either.

I really love this idea. Give us a classic SummerSlam match with a compelling reason to have a rematch with no time limit next month. Turn up the heat over the next month and then shock everybody by giving us Joe-Punk 3: Instead of giving us the seventy to eighty minute match we're all anticipating, give a guns blazing thirty minutes of non-stop hard-hitting action.

Not that I expect any of this. But it would certainly give us a reason to hold off heel turns and whatnot and really enjoy this.

I agree that there's not too much else on the card, that was the point of my earlier post. I think Cena/Punk will be great again, not really sure what is going to happen, but either way, I don't see it being an unusually lengthy match.

I see a Miz promo and/or match being added, as well as a possible Ziggler/Riley matchup. I also see ADR cashing in against a victorious but decimated John Cena. Unsuccessfully.

I think it was NorCal that made the comment about them adding a 6 man tag (Miz,Truth, & ADR vs. Kofi, Rey, & Morrison I beleive) being added to the card, I could see that happening, as well as a Zeke/Rhodes IC title match, maybe they add Bryan & Barret to that match make it a fatal 4-way just to get them on the card. outside of that I really don't see what else they'd add last minute.
