It's Damn Real!

The undisputed, undefeated TNA &
With a relative success rate for these in the TNA section, I figure it can't hurt to try an expansion into a larger market with the WWE/F.

Just as was done with the series in the TNA section, former talents of the company will be critiqued (by you) regarding their work in said company. You can vote them either a success, a bust or in-between if you don't feel they deserve either extreme.

In addition to your vote, I'd like to know why you feel the way you do. Why was this particular charater a succes, a bust or in-between?

Next in the series is Charlie Haas.

I'm actually gonna call this one a bust, Charlie Haas had potential to go places, but all he ever got to do of significance was serve as somewhat of a talent enhancement, and a few tag team championship reigns where it was quite so clear that Shelton Benjamin was the leader, and the star of the team.

Charlie Haas has been somewhat of an forgettable asset to WWE if you ask me, never really leaving anything to remember him from, with the exception of some impersonations, which really didn't do much for his career neither.

Charlie Haas was a bust.

First time I have went Bust on your thread, but most have to be out of their minds if they think this guy was a success story.

Charlie Haas had potential like Shelton, but Shelton was much more athletic and if I dare say it a little bit more charismatic. Haas really got over with the WWE crowd with his impersonations, but come on that was the most memorable thing about him- not the fact he held the tag-team championship 3 times, but the fact he mimicked other wrestlers.

No World Title, not even a US/IC Belt run. He didn't have big name feuds (unless you count tag-teams like Los Guerreros and Hardy Boyz). He will not be remembered in the WWE for years to come. Bust all the way.

when charlie haas came back the second time he got a good push then he wasnt really used when he reteamed with nenjamin they were off to a good starty but they were only given a few tag title shots, if they had won the tag titles then more could have happened. then haas amnd benjamin were in smackdown last year. they werent given much of a chance they could have been good contenders for the unified tag titles, then when haas was teaming with knox it could have been a good opportunity but they werent given a chance. haas is in between, he has a lot of potential, just needs a chance.
if haas and benjamin go to roh or tna they will get a fresh start.

I'm not hating on Haas, but this is reverse wwe bashing. You chose a bad person mainly in the wwe, some one not even worth discussing Guy is a solid b to c star. Not worth discussing. Do some one interesting like Golddust, or Regal. Like to see how ppl would stand on those. Mayb even one on JBL

Bust, shame, I always liked Charlie Haas, while he couldnt do all the flips like Shelton he was pretty good to watch in the ring I though, although he was at his best as a tag team wrestler and in a company that doesnt really do anything for tag teams that was always going to work against him.

I was always puzzled why Shelton got push after push and failed everytime but they never tried Charlie, on more than one occasion he showed he has a smidgen of personality and mic skills, which is a fuckload more than Shelton ever could.

I feel that once "The World's Greatest Tag Team" broke up, Shelton was given a fair shake (though he was never used to his full potential) while Charlie never went back to where he was. Charlie can do it in the ring for sure, but since he's not related to Vince his WWE career faultered. The gimmick where he impersonated other wrestlers seemed very bottom-of-the-barrell as far as ideas on how to use a wrestler. Big Show did that gimmick at one time, but he is still in the WWE.. lol..

Wrestling is mediocre... learn how to spell! Why don't you start a thread and stop whining? Not worth discussing, boo hoo!

I actually consider Charlie a slight success. As a tag wrestler which was most of his time on WWE TV he was excellant, putting on very good matches and giving people a reason to care about the tag belts.

As a singles wrestler he made the other wrestler look good. Although the only time he was over was when he was impersonating others, but what he was there to do he did.

BUST

Charlie started great. He was a member of The World’s Greatest Tag Team and had a great run with Shelton but after they split, he did nothing. He was involved in that ridiculous homophobe story which saw him and Rico win the tag titles and then him be involved in a bizarre angle involving Dawn Marie and his real life wife (oh the rhymes) Miss Jackie. He was fired, then brought back and did nothing again outside of a short lived World’s Greatest Tag Team reunion. And while his impersonation gimmick was enjoyable, he could have done something of more importance. Overall, Charlie Haas is a bust.

Considering the impersonation thing was the most memorable part of his time in the company, seems to be a bust here. To be fair, that was incredibly entertaining. They should've kept it going and went somewhere with it. Great storyline.

As a tag wrestler, he was pretty good in the ring, but much like his partner, no one cared. He was nearly as bland as Legacy, which isn't good at all. If he would've gotten some mic time or gotten half of the oppurtunites is someone like, say, Shelton did, he probably would've been a decent enough midcarder for awhile.

i went with in between because he wasnt used properly but we did see how talented Haas actually was. I hope TNA take him and use him like he should

Bust, bust, and double bust.

His main crowning achievement was marrying Jackie Gayda and doing the impersonation gimmick, a gimmick done by both Stevie Richards AND the Big Show beforehand, both going nowhere with it, so why would they think that Charlie Haas was suddenly going to get over with that gimmick?

The guy's matches literally got next to no reaction before that gimmick. Afterward he got a reaction up until that particular impersonation stopped being funny, and then another one when he did that person's finisher.

........ Oh and he injured Lillian Garcia just by bouncing off the ropes. Imbecile!

I've never been this confident in an answer to this before. Charlie Haas was an epic BUST.

I can't wait to see what people are going to say about Carlito.
